Casuals only stick around until their first loss anyway.
With the PC version currently on sale, I don’t know if I should buy it or keep hope alive that the PS4 version will eventually be made equal.
Does anyone know how to properly sync your stick with the Lab Zero driver. Everytime I do it I am always player one. I cant figure out how to be player 2 when playing with someone else who is playing on ds4.
Its the Lab Zero driver. I also have a Qanba q4raf and I have input lag in PS4 Ultra and MKX. I don’t have input lag with it on anything else.
It has to be the way the driver is utilized in both games since it’s not being used in the way lab zero intended . Can’t really say for sure until the ps4 version of skullgirls drops.
I tried it out again at a game center just to test some things and I can confirm that Chun Li’s lightning legs don’t hit the same/hit incorrectly. Same with her SBK as doing J. HK-> cr. HP x MK SBK-> super does 522 damage instead of 532 damage (what it does on the 360 version against the same character). Honda’s HHS combos also feel different, but I don’t main the character so I could be wrong.
I also reproduced the invisible projectile glitch with Chun easily with the memory/reload functions in training. Just save the state when the projectile is hitting the opponent and reload. This also works to take away other special effects like the wind at the end of her U1 as she’s spinning upward.
Using that glitch and her U2 makes the entire screen go blurry except for the things in the HUD like the input display and combo messages.
I’m really confused as to how these types of errors pop up when porting a game because I feel like they shouldn’t have had to change much. Is making it 1080p a possible reason so many glitches are present?
I’ve seen people on Twitter saying they’ve had a patch for the PS4 version. Can anyone confirm?
Anyone want to play some endless on PS4 later tonight?
I’m new and would love to play someone experienced to get some tips
PSN: Neocorey
I’m in TX
I just signed on and click check for update on the app and im dowloading the update right now
162 mb patch… can we really be hopeful!? seems meaty!
downloading now! all that really matters though is what Mr. Wizard says!
Just played arcade mode with ryu after installing the patch. So far so good. Menus are moving fast. Gameplay is quite better than a week ago. Still not too 100% input lag-free in the matches I’ve been playing (using a PS3 tournament s stick), but nevertheless, it’s vastly improved. IMO
Well now it freezes sometimes after I search for a ranked match. Great.
Just curious…What does the new patch leave un-fixed?
All I get is could not find an opponent in ranked or endless :S
Just tested the new patch, it seems much improved! Also seems they added in some anisotropic filtering, fixed the missing audio/balanced the audio, fixed the gamer tags missing online.
Online itself also is massively improved so far. I’m happy with the new update.
The patch seems to have fixed most of the minor issues people were complaining about. The input lag on sticks is still a thing, though. Haven’t messed around with Decapre’s teleport to see if they fixed that all, but I can’t replicate stuff like the vanishing projectiles now.
As an aside, though… I don’t have a 360/PS3 version to compare to at the moment, but the in-battle announcer voice is like. Half the volume of all other sounds ( even at default sound settings ). Am I just imagining this?
From what I hear they didn’t fix any of the input lag issues that they made worse during the port from PS3 to PS4 with this patch yet…
I can still feel the lag but now the new bug is the game freezes :S
Update:
2nd freeze in less than 10 minutes.
Anyone familiar with Chun/Honda/Gen etc. that can test their multi-hitting moves and see if they still behave differently/incorrectly?
