A while back around SFIV’s launch, companies like Mad Catz started releasing Sanwa sticks. Since then most of us have seen the light.
I could write my own essay on how much better Sanwa is Vs U.S/Happ style. I was skeptical as Happ is what i grew up with but, i was sold after just a few hours of playing on one of those new japanese style sticks. Never looked back.
Kinda sad to think back after all those years of playing on crappy U.S style parts and not realizing just how awful they really were. Just thinking about how heavy the stick springs are, you really had to put some muscle into complex movements.
MVC2 and dash-heavy games for example. I realize button dashing is always best but, i always preferred to dash with the stick. Feels more natural. However, the chunky-ass springs in the Happ basically FORCED you to get comfortable with button dashing. Sanwa has the right idea. Their springs are juuuust strong enough to reliably return to center everytime, and without accidental direction inputs but, light enough not to hinder/resist your movements. Much better. Stick dashing is no longer a pain in the ass.
Edit: For the record, i once took apart my happ competition and chopped the spring in half to lighten movement. It was still a shitload stronger than a stock Sanwa JLF.

Doesn’t shoryken keep a data base of IP addresses? If so whoever activated the new account would see a red flag under the awaiting member activation if I’m correct. Also I would assume that Alts would be a infraction. I’m a admin and moderate for two other forums and Alts would be a ban in my book.
Me personally, I would put said individual on a temporary ban. After a week or two if moral did not improve I’d slap a permanent ban followed up by documenting email address and ip# on the account for shorykens database. Next time he tries to open another alt account there will be a red flag letting the admin know not to approve the account.
Just my two cents though.
The guy already had one account banned yesterday, so in this particular case, whether having an alt account deserves an infraction is largely irrelevant.
Also a temp ban for a person with a blatant disregard for rules and politeness is the wrong call. Racists need to GTFO. Over and done.
I’ve have dealt with numerous people who in the beginning have a blatant disregard for rules and I have to disagree with u on a permanent ban off the bat. Sometimes people need to be cut down to size before they start to respect the rules! No need to rule with a iron fist.
This though does not seem to be the case as u stated he was banned yesterday and now back today stirring the pot. I can’t see how he slipping through the cracks unless he’s using a different IP address.

People with world views like that don’t change in time for a temp ban to lift. If you read the comments he made from the alt account upon the account first being banned you can easily see this. This ain’t just a salt match against another person…it’s against an entire race of people.
