So tell me, oh so smart one. other than going over there fucking around and/or doing stupid religious shit (pretty much the same thing), what the hell was he there for other than to do some stupid shit? You can make the argument that he was doing it for religion, school, political views… it all goes the same way, stupid shit.
lol. I know a lot of people don’t like me and just want pos rep anybody who flames me with out checking out the argument. Stay salty.
I’m not the only guy who is criticizing the actions/decisions of this guy going to a hostile-american hating country like NK, or leaning towards the assumption that he was being the typical american liberal religious idiot. Nevertheless, i don’t wish death on stuff like that unless they’ve committed atrocities.
Is dressing, talking and talking in a particular way against the law? No. Is your analogy poorly formed and typical of the type of bullshit you post? Yes.
Sigh. Why are people replying to Zatalcon still like it’s anything other than a futile excerise? Honestly I’m surprised he didn’t get banned while I was gone.
21 is the age of an adult. I don’t see why you or AlphaCharlie are acting like he’s some innocent tween that got mixed up in randomly when he went to North Korea of his own accord even if you believe nothing else about the story that North Korea put out, which honestly was his first huge mistake.
Newsflash: Even (easily avoidable) mistakes can get you killed, especially when they occur in countries where you really have no fucking business being in the first place.
So I’m fine with being a “garbage person”, however you’re defining that, if means I’m not lumped in with the dumbest fucking people in the room.
More importantly, SRK has made fun of far worse things than this in general. If this bothers you, even when the “kid” made his own stupid fucking life-ending choices, then you really might want to reconsider visiting here in general or at least this thread.
Also, Doritos? Gross.
As thurst already pointed out, this is a rather egregious false equivalency, but you seem to (still) enjoy indulging in those, so I can’t say I’m surprised you’re the one asking. Still, I’ll bite while keeping it short.
Even if we pretend they are somehow the same since they’re both voluntary actions, which is such a huge similarity that I can’t believe no one else saw it, a bad end in going to North Korea is still different from a bad end from mouthing off to the cops. One is carried out by a predictably brutal despotic regime that probably even the Amish know to stay away from where people are routinely executed or otherwise imprisoned without trial for super minor things and one is carried out by rotten apples as a systemic problem in a supposedly otherwise great democracy for offenses that the very law of the land they’re supposed to be enforcing say shouldn’t get you killed.
For the record, I’m all for people actually threatening cops getting lit up if need be despite not liking cops overall, but let’s not pretend that just mouthing off to the cops while dressing, talking, and walking “a certain way” is enough to actually threaten them; enough to get you arrested, yes, but that’s not what you’re implying if you’re bothering to make such an asinine comparison, especially since you can’t pretend that all of that behavior is legitimately “he reached for something suspiciously and that’s why we fired before he unleashed his blackness upon us”.
If you don’t see the difference, then I really don’t know what to tell you other than that this isn’t the thread you’re looking for if you want to suddenly talk about American cops.
There was probably a smart reason for this guy to go over to NK and do the shit he did? I mean, i’m “an idiot” because of saying that what this guy did was stupid, and was likely some jack ass moron so since that is “retarded” then i am curious, what possible “positive”/rational reasoning did this man have?
I know a lot of people want to jump the gun and just flame me to make look like an idiot as some form of payback, but do you even get what i was saying at all?
What did i say that was wrong? You just wrote a longer post of what i’ve been saying. I get it, a lot of you hate me and want to just flame and put me down but can’t you guys at least apply reading first?
What in gods name? I just read through this thread and I just cannot believe that people are making fun of this guy. Regardless of what kind of dumb decision that he made the man was tortured and is dead now. What in the world is wrong with you people?
There’s no proof he was tortured, although I guess you can make the argument that forced labor is indeed torture. You won’t get far, though. US still forces inmates to work for pennies a day, and that’s if they get paid at all.
GTFO. You guys are saying the same shit i pointed, If i am wrong about him doing stupid shit over because whatever stupid reasoning/affiliation/responsibility he had then that makes you as “dumb as i am” because you are giving the same argument. I don’t care what personal feelings you people have against me, but don’t be asshats by just flaming me for what i said and the proceed to just argue with what i was pointing at. Besides, i really don’t take any of your societal cliche comments against me seriously – nor from the “other” here who think it’s a small thing to crush a dogs face with a shovel. I’m not going to post anymore because i don’t want get banned, but i since most of you are actually arguing with the points i made then all the “you are an idiot” is just you talking with your feelings.
In prison it isn’t necessarily that you get a job in jail… Unless you’re in Angola or something. Forced labor in American prison is likely quite different than being in any other nation’s prisons. In many American prisons having a job is a privelege.
It’s the lack of empathy dude given how some random died over a petty offense, and how you can easily argue
“Well if he was well behaved and complied, he wouldn’t have died”. I shouldn’t have to spell this out for you given how I phrased my statement. This includes you @thurst
There’s been plenty of instances where people struggle and fight cops when being arrested, they get shot. We know this, so why do people have empathy for people like that if they know better supposedly, and know that the cops are particularly brutal about resisting arrest. It’s pretty fucking retarded to laugh and point at one situation, but get butt blasted over another when in both cases the action didn’t warrant the consequence, and both parties know explicitly how stupid a situation can get. It’s fucking hypocritical
It’s North Korea, it’s obvious they torture the guy.
You don’t get arrested in a communist country and not get tortured or just plain beaten as an American.
His athletic prime ended when he landed after jumping to swipe that banner… Man this is depressing. I know srk’s not a forgiving place but he really didn’t deserve to die…
