It seems like most folks here are laughing at the dude for being a dumbass because he knowingly put himself in a fucked up situation. Can we all agree that North Korea is fucked up? Yes? I think it’s fucked up. That’s why I felt sorry for the poor bastard. Until I thought about it some more and wondered why the fuck would someone want to visit what is perceived as one the worst countries in the world, knowing the history of their inhumane treatment of not only their own people, but especially outsiders. Then I wondered how the fuck someone could be so goddamn stupid to actually commit a crime in that country. What kind of mentality would justify that kind of behavior? It seems pretty brazen of him to think there wouldn’t be consequences. And that’s the point. That’s why people don’t give a shit about him, because his behavior indicates a sense of entitlement, that the rules don’t apply to him. Well guess what- he found out the hard way that there are consequences. Way more harsher than what most people here would think is necessary, but those were the stakes he was playing with, and he should have known that before stepping foot into that country.

You can be a registered sex offender for just peeing outside in the US…In other countries you see a bus driver stop his bus, then proceed too pee on his tires with a bus full of people, then goes back to driving the bus without washing his hands & that would be normal.
