You’re missing the point again. Yes he did something dumb, but his actions also show just how antiquated and ass backwards NK is. Saying something like “play dumb games, get dumb prizes” or some other colloquialism is letting NK off the hook. One of the main reasons for countries not allowing Cruel and Unusual Punishment is that sometimes, people do dumb things, but said people still have rights.
