Civil War 4. Early bird preregistration ends TOMMORROW. Save yourself some money! Venue fee jumps from 20$ to 30$ on April 1st at 12:01am. Also, hotel is sold out outside of the reserved room block. I’m working on getting a 2nd hotel to reserve rooms, but you guys should start making housing/hosting plans.

Friday eve: Team tourneys and side events
Saturday: Singles Start pretty early. At door registration will close before noon.
Sunday: Top X’s in most games. X being # that didn’t get finished on Saturday.
There will also be arcade cabs and a salty suite avail 24/7
OK UPSTATE I’m HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE FRIDAY NIGHT BEATDOWN, APRIL 13th 7pm to midnight at Corner Magic. The entry fee will remain 5 bucks but the store will get 2 bucks from it. The owner is giving us this shot so please please please if you can at all show up for this so we can keep it going. As for the games we will have Ultimate Marvel and SFxT as a given. I am willing to run KOF13 at this tournament but I need someone to bring copies of the game and show up for it. So please if you want KOF13 let me know ahead of time. I am about to make the post on srk and will relink it here with the directions to the place. Its off of I-85 and is a good middle point for everyone. PLEASE guys if you only show up to one tournament in your life make it this one so that we can show the owner that we have a scene and that this is something that can last. This will only help us grow and expand and I hope that all the upstate guys can make it out.
Sponsorship is finalized for the DSC tournament on 07/28/12. Flyers are posted at Gamestop, Aaron’s, Planet Comics, and Draisen Edwards!
Also, we will have no worries on the number of setups! Aaron’s has agreed that they will match the need of monitors for contestants even if we have to get them from another Aaron’s location! Consoles, games, and wired controllers will be covered by Game Stop with ease! Draisen Edward’s Music Center has agreed to come and set up 2 stand alone loud speakers connected wall to wall, along with microphone and microphone stand.
On a side not, lol I tested the speakers out and you can hook up and iPod or mp3 player and play music as well… haha We can jam out.
So please if you plan on going sign up at shoryuken or in the DSC event posted on facebook (add me) and specify 07/28/12 so I can know how many setups are needed!

MYSTERY TOURNAMENT!! $5 PER PERSON
2v2 team tournament will take place at some point during the tournament. it’s not quite a fighting game but essentially there will be some pushing and shoving. HINT: it was a very competetive arcade game in its day!

well finally had my baby guys, Lucas is his name and it is awesome being a dad. gotta get a little baby arcade stick. he was 8p 3 oz and 20 inches long so a big baby, best time of my life.
Kyah by the way my son can kick your sons ass at MK2, first to 10 baby.
