There’s a shitload of people coming from SC in general, which trips me out because I haven’t heard of 80% of them, and I’m wondering where the fuck they have been for the past 15 years. Probably in elementary school.
Yo Filldoh we have Kenpachi and his crew going, David and the Columbia crew going, and the Myrtle Beach area going. If you have a facebook let me know we have a group there that is way more active than this forum. Also I wanted to let the upstate know at the last min my friend wasn’t able to go to FR I am going solo it seems so if anyone needs a ride in the upstate area hit me up by Thursday. If you ride with me you can also take his spot in the hotel room it will only be 35 bucks however its gonna be a packed room so if you don’t mind sleeping on the floor. So yea I would really like to not have to ride all the way alone so if anyone in the upstate that needs a ride hit me up also if any of you guys going have a spot in your car I would rather ride with others, and don’t worry I can put in for gas also!
Good luck to everyone going to FR. I had thought I might make an appearance to see some old friends but I’ve got major issues going on that have to be dealt with.

Hey man, sorry - I’ve been swamped as shit for the last week, obviously. FR was insane, we had 1600 people, that’s twice as much as last year. Cross Assault finals, pot bonuses, first chance to play VF5 FS and Tekken Tag 2? Nuttiness.
I was only there for the duration of the weekend. Back in Kansas City now. Should be back in a few months to see the fam, we should get together for sure.
Man is was really nice to go to final round. I wish my Angi stick was duel modded but man I had a great time anyway.
My only real grip was all the clutter. NOS took up far too much space and the casual games as well. But over all im glad I made it. I worked 10 hours then drove solo, stayed up for all but 3 hours that day and left at 3am Sunday. but man good shit.
f you guys want some comp, and are willing to drive up to NC and not doing nothing the 31st of march you should come to this here tournament

Hey what’s up guys? Just wanted to stop through and post up the info for the 2012 EVO Midwest Championships (MWC). That’s right, we are an EVO qualifier this year, and are looking to make this the biggest MWC yet!
This year’s MWC will be held in Nashville, TN. Specifically at the South’s premier arcade, Game Galaxy, which is owned and operated by OG tournament player and veteran game collector Jason “DreamTR” Wilson!

Yo upstate we are in there, Thanks to Patrick Zaragoza we have a place that is willing to let us hold tournaments on Friday nights. And the amazing part they stay open to 2am. Also its at a place I feel is close enough drive for everyone in the upstate area the place is http://cornermagicgames.com/ in Piedmont. They are willing to section off a portion of the store just for us and allow us plenty of room and power outlets with tables. Also Patrick was able to get James Chen to give a shoutout to the SC fighting game community tonight on UltrachenTV and to show we are growing and working to get our scene together!
I’m assuming Friday Night Fights is happening again tonight in Anderson even though there’s no mention of it here.
FNF is not happening tonight. Chris was busy and having issues so he was not able to plan it for tonight. He said the date has been moved to the 30th and that he should be putting up an event page on SRK soon.

So guys I have decided to wait until we have Friday night fights on march 30th to plan for the new Friday night fights at corner magic. I want to talk to everyone in person there and see if they are willing to come to Piedmont how often and if they can bring setups then from there I can plan the date and get it rolling. Honestly I’m down for this to be a weekly thing but I need to see if people are willing to do it weekly, Also this would be starting later than the ones at planet comics since the store stays open late. Corner Magic…isn’t that the guy that used to have the tables at the Jockey Lot? Is the store still between Powdersville and Greenville off Highway 81?
I believe thats the place Bob but i have not been there yet myself, I am going to meet with the owner next week and tell him about the date I have in mind etc. But a friend has already talked to him and got the ok for us to hold tournaments.Is there anything I need to know about this guy?
Nah, he seems like a nice enough guy. I bought some cards off of him right before I moved out of the area. It was one of the only places to get singles near Anderson. The store front is a little small, but it should be enough for 20 or so heads.

Hello Upstate SC, Chad Scott here, I have been working on starting a monthly tournament that won’t interfere with Kenpachi’s so we would have a tournament every 2 weeks. The venue I’m working on to hold the tournament seems like a go just one problem stands in our way. We need setups if you can bring a setup please let me know here or facebook or email me w/e. I have to find out if we will have the setups for this to happen. The owner of the store is concerned his store may have power problems so if you could let me know the type of tv you have if you can bring a setup. Please people if you want this to grew in the upstate and become a normal thing we need all the help we can get. I already have 3 setups I would like a total of 6 to begin with. If you can only bring a console that helps too anything is better than nothing.I really want this to happen where we will be able to go to Kenpachi’s Tournaments and mine back and forth. It will help us grow and get better all together. So please let me know if you can help with bringing in setups. The place is located off of 85 called Corner Magic pretty close to everyone in Anderson and Greenvillle area. So please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you all!
