Had a blast at Final Round. Despite eating at the worst retuarant in ATL, everything else was good.
It was cool seeing folks and I believe I did better in Marvel 3 when I was drunk.
Oh and William is a bitch and is banned from Upstate rooms from now on. That is kevins friend not mine and he is lucky Jesus didnt break his damn arm. That is all I will say on the matter.

If you want to change your name on SRK, you have to buy a premium membership for a year, and then around Christmas, Wizard puts up a thread and you can request a change.

My surgery did not go as well as it was planned and they had to cut me like a ****** grabbing a old black ladies purse. I had the largest hernia on record at the hospital. Its was soooo good to see everyone, and there were a few faces that shocked me that made it out this year. Looks like Raph and I will go back and play Guilty Gear next year. Anyway I’m going to work on my recovery and hopefully feel like myself in another week or so. The time off work has not been wasted at all. Its sad that I see my co workers way more then my friends and family. Anyway guys I will talk to you later.
@ Lester: I pray that you have speedy recovery from surgery. I can only imagine the amount of pain you felt walking around during FR.
Wow ok, so I went over to matt’s place last night to play some mvc3, and we ended up playing the mortal kombat demo for like 3 1/2 hours. That game is pretty damn fun, and it’s just 4 characters in a very early build. I can’t wait to see the finished product. The Kabal trailer looks great, his mask looks way better in this one. Scorpion is still probably my favorite mortal kombat character, and it felt so great playing him again. I am extremely happy with the feel/speed of the game even in that very early build demo. Being able to tech throws is pretty nice addition and you only have to press front punch to get out, but you have to be quick about it. You can throw with front punch and front kick at the same time street fighter style! Also something I noticed is whoever gets first hit in the first round gets 1 bar of meter, which is pretty nice cause you start off with 1 anyways. Overall badass demo, day 1 buy for me!

yea i was supprised how good it was to. i have the tournament edition reserved but dont know if i want it. still going to get the game anyway, really liking cage. his is the first counter super i have ever seen that is really fun to use. great game and i love the meter management, i can use a bar for ex moves like cage back forward kick(punishes everything) or i can save it for an ex ray move. really good game feels like a evolution of mk2 which is what i always wanted anyway.
Good games Ted! That was by far the best online session I’ve had since I got the game. That was the best connection i’ve had so far pretty much 0 lag! You’re going to need to teach me how to play mortal kombat like a pro when it comes out!
Its been 9 days now and I fell much better. There is still a whole lot of swelling but my checkup was good. Only the cut still hurts and its not too bad really. I am a bit week but its ok. Ice pack, stool softener and sleep are god like. I think for your type of work Phil you would only need like 2/12 weeks off?
damn 2 & 1/2 that is an eternity at my job every time i take off a week i need two to catchup guess ill wait till summer when shit slows down.
