kevin thanks for the inpressions on marvel, what did you think of the roster? anyone look overpowered this early? my guess is trish and deadpool are owning right now, with trish looking like the new cable and deadpool the new storm.
Best character I think so far? Chun-Li. She is like Mags, always in your face and crazy high damage combos. Dormammu is a really great keepaway character. Deadpool, Trish and Dante are all really good. They have similar playstyles so far but I am sure that will change since Deadpool at least has a teleport(that might I add only works 2/3 times because his teleporter malfunctions about every 3rd time lol). Worst character so far? It has to be Thor. He is just too slow. I think eventually he may be decent because his defense is pretty high and his attacks hurt not to mention he has an 8-way air dash but at this early stage, he is not to great. His hit box is extremely large for some reason. I think my friend Travis is just about the only Thor matches that I saw have a win. I can already tell Viewtiful Joe and Amaterasu are going to be annoying simply because they are so low to the ground.
yea this is kinda what i thought, chun looked that way when Justin wong was playing her, should be interesting. How is thor’s assist, that looked really good, also how is hulk he looked beastly.
All the characters seem great to me! Except Thor lol. Wolverine seems pretty beastly, he has some great combos. Iron man and Doom’s airdash are crazy fast now. I am pretty pissed I didn’t get to play, but grateful that capcom gave the south east a taste of mvc3 and also for hiring yaya to dress up as Felicia. That was definitely worth it:wgrin: I had so many great ideas to try out, but got fucked out of playing. I waited in line for so long…well I waited in the crowd that should have been a line had capcom actually maybe thought ahead and placed ropes leading up to the stations to indicate where the line for both sides actually were. So many people just sliding in from the side and cutting in line, and didn’t give a shit when someone called them out for it. Or people losing and just sliding off to the side instead of going to the back of the crowd. Anyways, I finally get up to the station and place my hands on the arcade stick, and one of the staff members steps in front of me and says “No more on this station we’re running a tourney.” the tourney was “hand picked from skill level” Which is complete bullshit…it’s the first day…how can someone be considered higher skill level than others? It ended up being almost all people from ATL I saw step up to be in the tournament that actually never even happened, it was just exhibition matches between ATL players lol. So basically I just got fucked out of my 1 shot to get my 1 match in which of course was upsetting. I’m just glad I got to see the game in action at least. It definitely looks a lot better in person after watching lots of videos.
Has anyone played on the Galaxy4Gamers on-line tournaments? I registered and am thinking of starting to enter some smaller tournaments to prepare for the On-Line EVO event. Any feedback from anyone here?

I’m intrigued by this as well. Since I don’t have the chance to go to live tourneys at the moment (stupid job), this would be a good avenue to go. Plus, any tourney experience is good experience.

I’m not ready to hang with you guys in SSF4 yet, I need a little more practice. I haven’t even played my own copy, just at other people’s houses out here.

I just shit myself.
Played my first G4G tourney Sunday. 4-man single elimination and lost to a very good Guile.
Played my second tourney. 2-man First-to-Five against a good Ryu and won. Gonna get a few more in before EVO-On-Line comes around.
i am kinda wanting to play some more TVC does anyone have a TVC wii stick they would want to trade for a street fighter SE stick for 360?
