Venue Info ? This will be our first event outside of Bleecker. We are doing it at a local sport bar with a great Menu, good space, and TVs & 1 PS3 already there. The Price basically depends on Turnout and how much you guys spend. So we can keep the Tourney Fee/Venue $5/$5 IF AND ONLY IF everyone on avg spends $10-15 on food or drink, with the other $5 going to cover the leftover cost. If you don?t want to buy food/drink from here, we may be forced to do $10/$10 Tourney and Venue Fee and this may decrease numbers so for now its $5/$5. But the food is great and inexpensive. ONE HUNDRED FLAVOURS OF WINGS!!!

Equipment
The beauty of this Venue is that they have plenty of TVs to use, plus one projector, plus one system already there. I still think it is in our best interest to bring at least 1-2 Setups just in case. This is what I see so far.

Hopefull every 3 is enough the day of. I?m not sure if we will need extension cables for some of the setups, but shouldn?t be a problem. JS is going to take pictures Tuesday and upload them. I?m going to go Thursday or Friday do go over any tidbits with the other directors (JayW/RXS/Russ).
Location is Great, Food and Venue cost is best we can ask for right now, Equipment is a definitely getting a boost. Turnout I believe will always be there.

Awesome. If I can hook a ride now, I know I’m gonna be bringing atleast 40 bucks to this place and chowing down on wings with the nachos assist afterwards.
While the TTC trip turned from routine to epic journey, this is a clutch decision as I don’t have to run home to catch the UFC fight night.
I’m in, and I’m joining SF4 and HD teams.
My Chicago trip got postponed. As such I’ll be in attendance for this tournament.
I’ll be taping matches, most likely top 5 + any notable matchups along the way.
EDIT: Does anyone know if there’s a store in Pacific Mall that sells camcorder batteries? I’m looking to get a large size for my HDD Camcorder and can’t seem to find one anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sf bar fight!!!
This will be the Canadian Version of SF Bar Fights! EVERYONE needs to support this!
This bar is one of my favourites, big screen TVs, projectors, GREAT food (outside of wings, they have world famous ribs, burgers, and specialty appetizers)
We worked very hard to get this bar for everyone so i hope ppl can come out and show their support even if they dun’t wanna join SF4, they can come and haf a few drinks.
In addition, The bar owner tells me that York U and UofT players host monthly tournaments too with 30+ ppl every time; this will be a great opportunity for us to expand the scene and have even bigger turnout for our future tournaments. (Ie: T10)
Since this is a bar fight; arcade legend, flightwing and myself will be setting up a 3 digit MM amongst ourselves to decide WHO IS THE CAPTAIN of TEAM STC! details of that will be posted soon!!!
Finally for every opponent who loses to me in this tournament, i will buy u a FREE drink.
There’s NO reason not to attend this guys, lets all work together and make this first one a success!

Hats off to you Dinoz (and anyone else) who helped you get a venue for GTASF on such short notice.
I will be in attendance and will be driving in from Sauga. If anyone (Hisham?) needs a ride let me know. The only thing is that afterwards, I will be going back to my parents place in Scarborough (not sauga) so you will have to find your own way back! Kinda useless, I know :\
I will be helping out with SF4 brackets and such. I will seed by region (Sauga, Scar, Brampton, Hamilton, Downtown, Buffalo, Vaughn, Markham, etc) and will use previous tournament results as a basis.
I’m going to EVO this year so I will need all the training that I can get!

- Venue Fee … this is kinda a grey area … Can you confirm the fee @ $5? I’d be okay with paying $5 max as we will be occupying the restaurant for a good majority of the day. I plan on getting food during and after the tourney too. Having access to beer doesn’t hurt either. However I think $10 is a little steep.
- Can you update the thread details (first post and title) accordingly?
