Next thing on my list is the standing lk loop. I got 3 in a row once, didn’t combo (don’t think it’s supposed to though) and probably would not have been that good in a match since it was slow as hell… and it’s really tough on those forearm muscles, gah!
So I had a minor epiphany today and I can do 2 fierces and finish with a slide almost 100% of the time. But whenever I go for the third fierce, I find I get pushed too far back and end up getting far st. fierce instead. Any pointers on how to stay closer to my opponent?
Your just rushing it on the second fierce it alomst impossible to miss it take your time and let him run a little bit deeper then do the second fierce. Once you do that your a little bit closer so you can rush the 3rd fierce a little more.
IIPeru’s advice was extremely helpful. It’s all about making sure the second st. fierce leaves you as close to your opponent as the first st. fierce. It was exactly like he said, just sort of casually do the second fierce and then pick up the pace from there.
I’m pretty happy with 4 into slide, or 4 into reset. Once I start consistently pulling those in matches will I try and push my limits.
Oddly enough I’ve been using Chun-Li a lot lately to warm-up. Been using her a lot in casuals and such. Not replacing Fuerte but for some reason it helps me get a clear headed game going more using Chun first.
Arcade is strange, it almost feels slower than the home versions. I have to wait what feels like forever before starting the loop after a stun at the Arcade.
I’ve seen this done…by none other then TKD[he’s my idol now]
Its pretty cool…
I only got 3…Its pretty hard cuz sumtimes the run doesn’t come out-__-
Btw…Fuertes new ultra is GOD-LIKE
tkd got some good mindfuck combos
most of the time he start his mixup from an crmk, i learned crmk xx hd xx stop, crlk, crmk after that you have a good position to perform an crossup tostada or to trick with fake tortilla
anyway you gotta have nuts to perform it in a match/tourney because you will eat an srk
I haven’t really been playing Fuerte much recently, and hadn’t worked on RSF for months. I could do 2 fierce into slide 100% of the time, and get to 3 fierces maybe… 20%? I had gotten 4 maybe once. I spent probably 10 total hours practicing RSF in my life, so I had worked on it.
I randomly picked him up the other day and started doing RSF. I got to 3 hits on my first try. I thought it was a bit of an anomaly, but I couldn’t play any more that day. I jumped into training mode just now to see what was up. I picked Gouken as my training dummy. Within 3 minutes I did 7 RSF loops. I could get to 4 over 50% of the time. My execution hasn’t gotten supremely better over the last while I don’t think… just so strange. I hadn’t even been watching Fuerte videos or anything.
I then went into trial mode and did the 3-hitter on Dan three times in a row without ever missing. Didn’t start with a focus attack, and didn’t push him to the corner first. Just walked up and did RSF.
I’m a little scared. Maybe I should try to channel my power for something more useful in real life?
Its just a gallop rhythm man let him run deep in then as quick as you can hit lp then hp, the faster you hit lp then hp the easier it will be. Just got to practice til you get it.
I dunno, maybe i’m doing it properly but isn’t coming out because I use a hori stick for my ps3 and a TE for when I play on xbox. (yes I bought a TE for xbox when I own a ps3)
i need help. the rsf is the one thing with fuerte i can’t get. I have mastered fierce run slide. and i can most of the time do two hits but i feel as if i am not fast enugh or close enough for the next one or god willing any higher than 3.
I weep when i see vids of 6 hits to slide or the daipan 9 hit, or even the Brainz vid of the ten hit and so on and so forth. I just want to know what it is i am lacking.
My guess is that I am not close enough but in running further he recovers from my fierce and the combo died. Help.
Ask yourself this “Have I spent enough time practicing this combo?”
It took me 8 weeks of practicing 3 hours a day to get 5-6 into slide in training mode everytime.
I didn’t watch videos, I wasn’t taught it, I read the correct way to execute the combo and practiced until it was completed.
If you want information on how to do the combo then maybe you should have read every post in this thread before posting something that’s been answered several times.
