gief2k dont give up!
you have great knowledge about el fuerte in general so it would be very dissapointing to net get it in your arsenal
you just need some motivation to keep practising. dont spend hours on training mode, go play some matches from time to time and try to implement at least 1 or 2 fierces into slide when you have the oppurtunity (ex.: whiffed srk).
OR: give it a little break sometimes this works very good!
actually i did learn it only against abel and/or ryu and that didnt differ the timing for meā
no offence ani, but there is no point on doing 8+ hits with the RSF against any character
baiting with backstep/tossada/tortilla/fajita is a way better choice for maximal damage output, but i think you already know that!
yeah they do have dif timing but if youve put in the time the little quirks are easy to learn its more of a mindset like dam I gotta fight rufus or dan they got dif timing then you apply it its good to practice on them too
This is more about c.mk loop, is there any way to do this on the Sixaxis? I havenāt even tried it in months, even the the most I got was 2 hits evar. Iāve never replicated that.
Dunno if this helps. I stopped playing SF4 for over a month a while back, came back to the game last month, and suddenly I went from 2 hits to 3 hits. Also figured out a whole bunch of new tricks.
I think sometimes when you get stuck on a game, you need a break so you can come back and look at things afresh.
Yes a break from the game gives you a refresh, worked for me as well.
So here I am practicing my RSF and Iāve pretty much for the sound going for it and everything, I can even do 7-8 straight. The trick is though I canāt get them to combo, but theyāre very fluent coming out almost as if they could combo.
Is this because my timing needs to be more faster or does it not matter if a few donāt combo or not?
Also Iāve seem to have learned it backwards with qcf+lp, lp-fp instead of fp and then into it.
there was also a post in this thread saying something like 4-5 is good, but 6 is best on most characters, leaving you a hit or two away from stun. alas, do whateverās most comfortable for you. personally iāll do 10+ if my execution permits, stun or no stun.
Yo xsonic you going to ncba tomorrow night? i need to see your RSF execution as so far i can only do like 3 consistantlyā¦training i can do more but yeahā¦
My RSF training regime is just me jumping into training mode and selecting a random character as my training dummy for about 10 minutes on days I play. Used to be every day but lately itās only a few days/week. Just disable stun and set them to autoblock.
So for those of you who have the RSF loop completely mastered, do you negative edge the run or is it a standalone input? Iāve been using LP, and I can get 3 in training mode when the stars are aligned and I believe in myself and everything is perfect. Iām wondering if I should stop practicing it the way Iām currently practicing and try negative edge orā¦
we can only tell you what fits for ourselves the best. i would ALWAYS suggest what you are comfortable with.
for myself, i do not use negative edge. its just preference but makes no difference.
When it came to the RSF I tried to do it both ways in the beginning and found that it was a lot more consistent when I did all the presses instead of negative edge. In a weird twist, when I do the low mk loop I find it a lot easier and more consistent to do negative edge on the lp for the run.
I think it makes more sense on the low MK loop because you have to do it so quickly. I still canāt do that one very reliably though - I need to practice it more.
