I found a solution to your uninstallation issue. Use a particular uninstallation script, found at http://www.mediafire.com/?9af2zgafw6zpp8q. It worked flawlessly for me, and I was able to go back to version .08 like nothing happened. If you have Xcode installed, all you have to do is double-click on the script, and it should be practically instantaneous with the uninstallation. Hope that helps!
Tried around for quite a while now and googled solutions but canât get it to work. Changing the file extension to .command just tells me I have no rights to do this. Do I really have to somehow download and install the 10GB xcode just to uninstall this driver?

It looks like it did what it was supposed to, thatâs what mine looked like when I ran the script through Xcode. All you have to do now is reinstall your old driver that you used to have (.08 in this case) and it should work. After reinstalling, do the InstallNewControllerList app by dragging your downloaded .plist file onto it, do your password twice, restart, and test it again to see if it works. Thatâs all I can really tell you.
You donât need to run the script to uninstall the software. Just manually delete all of the files from /Library.
Open a Finder window > select GO > GO TO FOLDER > type â/libraryâ Hit enter
Remove any â360â related files from:
[]~/Library
[]~/Library/Application Support
[]~/Library/Preferences
[]~/Library/PreferencePanes

~/Library/StartupItems
And also from
/System/Library/Extensions

I spent 4 hours trying to get my pad working this evening but I finally did. This is how:
Watch this video
Make sure youâve uninstalled version 9 or 10 and rebooted, delete all the files out of trash.
Follow the instructions in the video, except - the updated list wonât work if your controller isnât on it. You have to manually edit the list in TextEdit and then it should work when you drag it into the updater. To find out the **IDProduct and IDVendor codes, **plug in your pad, Go to Applications > Utilities> System Info. **> **USB,
The codes are listed there for your 360 Pad. Open up the âControllerListâ in TextEdit and chose a peripheral youâre definitely not going to use. Mine looked like this:
Copy & paste your idProduct code and idVendor codes that you got from System Info. and then save the list. Drag it to the InstallNewControllerList app and there you have it.
Does that work on Lion? When I try to run that updater app (InstallNewControllerList) it says âThe action ârename finder itemsâ encountered an error. Check the actionâs properties and try running the workflow againâ
Anyone know why the joystick controls arenât working properly? Moving the joystick left or right doesnât do what itâs supposed to, even if I download (tried multiple) programs to remap the keys, the joystick is always bugged and doesnât work. Up and down work like theyâre supposed to, left and right donât do anything or do incorrect things and I canât seem to fix it. Running on .08 using a Hori Fighting Stick EX2 on OS X Lion.
Annihilator- When you say âRunâ, are you double clicking it? You only have to drag your updated list onto the InstallNewControllerList icon for it to run. And your controller should now work. If youâre having problems trash it and start again. Even though I got my crappy controller to work last night, getting it work with games is another story. Arkham Asylum, no response. Trine 2, itâs all over the place. I havenât tried any emulators yet, but they should work fine. The only game that worked straight off the bat with no adjust to the settings was Portal 2. Good job I havenât played Portal 2 yet.
As soon as I got the Mini Pro EX to work, I tested it on a few emulators such as NEStopia and SDLMame/MAME OS X and it hasnât had any issues at all. No problems whatsoever yet. Also, Iâve heard that Lion isnât as mature yet to have solid controller support, Snow Leopardâs the way to go until further notice Iâd think.
Well everythingâs working okay here with my 3rd party GameStop 360 wired. Iâve got games to work by finding the controller lists inside the package contents of individual games and editing the 360 profile again with the vendor & product IDs of the gamepad. Nice. Finished college for 6 weeks. Portal 2, Arkham Asylum, Trine 2, Ray Man Origins via Dolphin and a bunch of SNES RPGs to get stuck into. Aw yeah. Have a good holiday all!
I have to say, there was a hidden surprise within the Mini Pro EX controller. Apparently, thereâs a button on the back of it that can be pushed and it makes all the main buttons glow in the dark! The buttons are very comfortable and the D-Padâs a lot more reliable on this than the MadCatz controller in my personal opinion. This controllerâs available at Wal-Mart, and I got it for about 30 dollars. I played DoDonPachi, Mega Man 4, Streets of Rage Remake v5, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and many other great games with this nice piece of hardware and I am definitely happy with itsâ performance. If you want a new controller, this is a great one to consider.
There is only one problem Iâm detecting with the controller, if I try to play a game in either PCSX or PCSX-Reloaded, the trigger buttons automatically act on their own; for example, Iâm trying to play Mega Man Legends 2. If I go to the Tutorial on the Main Menu, and as soon as Roll stops talking, the targeting system automatically locks on her and I havenât pushed the R2 button (and bear in mind I didnât switch the auto-lock option on). Is there something wrong with PCSX and PCSX-Reloaded with the back trigger buttons on the XBOX 360 controller? Itâs like that for both the Mini Pro EX and the MadCatz I have.
EDIT: I forgot to also add that in Crash Bandicoot 3 (Warped), that if you play the stages where youâre Crashâs sister and you ride on the tiger in the Chinese stages, the tiger automatically runs very fast and you canât stop it from doing so. I canât seem to find a way to make it run normally. The triggers are apparently stuck in PCSX/PCSX-Reloaded, but the triggers work fine on the other emulators like NEStopia and Kega Fusion.
Nevermind, I found a solution to that problem. With Gamepad Companion, I mapped the buttons to the keyboard along with the trigger buttons for PCSX/PCSX-Reloaded and it works totally fine now.
so i made a mistake and install the newer version of tattiebogle. i thought i uninstalled it but when i try to download the 0.08 version of it the downloader tell me that it wont do it because i still have the newer version downloadedâŚi try to find the version in finder but it donât show. any tips on where the driver might be located?
After about four hours of tinkering I finally got my Razer Onza to work on Lion. I must have a different version of it as plist v.15 had a different id listed: 5769 not 7085 like the TE
Product ID:0xfd01
Vendor ID:0x1689
I got to practice with the terminal so it wasnât at all a waste of time, and now everyone trying to get the onza working will know how. Cheers!
