UPDATED (3/10/2012) "This will be over in a nanosecond" - UMvC3 QuickQuestion/QuickAnswer

I use it to do semi instant overheads while they block assists. Works pretty good since you can mix up overhead and low at almost the same speed (IE: TK Feint, j.M or land cr.L)

usually when im doing my combo with buster charged i am charging with light and doing raikousen L in the air for the relaunch but can seem to make this consitant and after the first launch should i nuteral jump or more toward the oppentent for better results any help that would be great thank you i play on te stick.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Perhaps the best sentence ever written by anyoneā€¦EVER

I normally start the fight by calling the hulk gamma wave assist, having Zero jump whilst charging the buster, then use the H. Command dash in the air fire the buster on the way down and if they jump I use Ryuenjin (light or medium depending on what theyā€™re doing). If they donā€™t jump then they either get hit or block the buster, either way it makes them think twice before trying to rush in.

There are many variations of that opening but its all depending on the situation.

I think the TS means what do you do when the match STARTS, like after 1 2 3 START!! I simply hold forward when the match is starting, and stay point blank and go with J.C + Tron gustaff fire assist. If they block you cross them up if they jump you grab them, if they air tech your tron assist punishes them and you can dash and continue the combo. Sometimes, luckily, the tron assist doesnā€™t come out and I air throw them, and I can extend the combo with Doom beam assist > Command air dash M > OTG dive kick > bnb. Also, if they walk away with a fast-walking character and I canā€™t be point blank before the countdown finishes, Iā€™ll go for Doom beam assist into cross up command dash.

What Iā€™ve written is what I do lol

Before ā€œFightā€ flashes I make sure to walk towards them. Always. Itā€™s intimidating, like when youā€™re playing against a good Magneto in MvC2 ā€“ Oh, the tension.

Fuck with their head. Then start with an assist and a heavy Hienkyaku.

All you have to do Is learn to block, If you get caught in the Corner and they have a Pressure assist ( Doom Missles or Sent Drones ) then just put down your Controller ( or stick ) and go smoke a Cig Honestly.

Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. Iā€™ve been running Ammy(b)/Zero(b)/Doom(a), but Iā€™m just not liking Doom as an anchor. If Ammy and Zero go down, Doom is fodder. Can anyone think of a good 3rd for Ammy/Zero/____?

honestly i wouldnā€™t mind model HX from the ZX series i think it would fit right in!

or they could actually just use X, like he had the saber in X6

What are Zeroā€™s good high priority movess other then his Ryuenjin and his Charged Buster shot.

It sounds like a scrub answer but perhaps Sentinel? His Drone Assist (Type A Alpha) is good for Zero for closing in. If your specifically asking an assist thatā€™s similar as Doomā€™s beam assist, there is Magneto and Ironman.

Ammy/Zero/Spencer would work too. Spencer is an amazing anchor and can handle himself easily in a one on one. Spencerā€™s Armor Piercer Assist helps Zero get relaunches by calling the assist and then hitting an OTG Dive, Spencer will wall bounce them and Zero gets another air combo. Also Spencer can setup the DHC trick for Zero and Ammy which can lead 100% kills. Plus, Spencer can take a damn hit unlike Zero and Ammy so that would really help balance out your team a bit. Sentinel on there would just make everyone too easy to kill.

Although Iā€™d personally say stick with Doom on your team and make either Zero or Ammy your anchor. Zero would work better since with Sougenmu, he can make his own unblockables and becomes extremely fast in X Factor which means its really hard to run away from him.

And for high priority moves, j.:h:, j.:m:, Sentsuizan, s.:h: and :d::h: are all very strong moves. his crouching :h: in particular as it can actually act as a good Anti Air since he flips and the hitbox goes above him.

Sougenmu right away, Hadangeki (B) Spam like with Sentinel Drones Assist out, while charging Buster with A.
OR I also go for Sougenmu the have Sent Assist out then go for Hienkyaku Mixups

I block and jump away. I tend to observe and then deal with what theyā€™ve got going on rather than just jumping right into it. And Iā€™m leary to throw out an assist in ā€œFightā€ just because my poor sentinel has barely enough HP to survive a single combo from any character in the game at this point.

Sometimes I will do, sentinel assist --> Light/Medium Air Lightning on Fight, but thatā€™s rare and Iā€™ve got to know the person isnā€™t expecting me to do something like that.

New Zero player here, wondering: Which assists, thus far, are established to be very good for Zero in terms of covering his rushdown? Doom beam I know from JWong vids. Sent Drones Iā€™m assuming because they cause good blockstun. Probably Iron Man beam tho I have no interest in playing Ironman. Would be nice if Tron, but Iā€™m guessing she doesnā€™t cause enough stun.

Iā€™d be happy with a rattled off list, but if anyone feels like typing up ā€œand why?ā€ explanations, go for it!

Got to finally play some Zero tonight and feel like I answered my above post pretty well. Ran Zero Sent Tron (called it Sā€™crap Metal) and it felt great! I mean, day one w/ a character is never pretty, but I can feel the potential welling up inside me like a geiser ready to burst with drones lol

Anyway, was just wondering if anyone else has some fun setups, tricks, or traps w/ Sent or Tron?

what is the difference between :m: and :h: otg dive kick
