geylang = you pretty much walk around a neighborhood, theyre some buildings/houses that you enter and there’ll be chics all dressed up sitting or standing behind a glass, point out wihich one you want to smash and pay at the counter lol. there’s a similiar scene in one of the rush hours, forgot which one.
Shit. One of the bad things about coming off of night shift is your sleep cycle. Didn’t wake up to my 3pm alarm and got woken up by a buddy at 7. Sorry i couldn’t make it.
On a side note, I went to plaza capcom and that place is DEAD man! I still played a few guys… a scrubby blanka and a scrubby gief and I got some rust off… but for a little while there it was bad! Haha… try not playing a human opponent for 3 months then having to worry about tick throw setups again. I swear to god, that blanka must have lp roll > throwed me at least 13 times before I actually started teching crap.

It was nice to see some american gamers, I was the guy who was tall (yeah i know, every gaijin in japan is tall haha), white, with brown hairs and a blue shirt, I was playing dictator.
I was teamin’ with Kim1234, Gundam (everybody was laughing about his name when the manager of the gamecenter has announced him haha, but it wasn’t a mean laugh), we had a special dictator team, it was funny, but we could’nt beat chome, he’s really good, he has a orignal style when he’s playing (and he’s very funny when you speak with him)

No gaijin really showed up this thursday. It was just me and a feller named jamtoast who played akuma.
On a side note, TKD was there and I got to play his outstanding fuerte! I won the first round, but then he came back with some crazy stuff. He did an ultra out of his run away + fierce and caught me in the recovery of my jump back. Crazy!
In a past life, TKD was a Mexican Jumping Bean.
I got a round on him once too… that’s just the nature of El Fuerte. Sometimes you lose real bad. But TKD knows how to whip wins (and land ultras) seemingly out of nowhere.
