UPDATE: NOW ONLY 300 YEN AND RUNS FROM 7:30 to 11:30.

To those of you in Japan, there is a shop named Sports Land Shibuya that plays 300 yen entry free play for Street Fighter IV.

It’s also 50 yen for everything every other night.

I forget the address at the moment but if you walk straight from the Hachiko exit you should find it. It’s across the street from the First Kitchen in that area.

The competition is good there. There are at least 4 or 5 master ranked players that show up.

Also, first post. I’m a long time Street Fighter fan but brand new to all things competitive. Sadly, I grew up in places where there were no good arcades.

Quick bump to remind everyone in Japan that the 500 yen free play is tonight (and every thursday) from 7:00.

Also the address is Shibuya ku, Utagawa cho 24-6 if that helps. Street Fighter IV is in the basement.

The owner is nice and seemed happy when I offered to post this for him, so please come.

Sadly, low def cabs and plenty of second hand smoke.

But the people are pretty nice and the competition is fierce.

Yesterday, the #1 Zangief and the #1 Dhalsim were both playing there.

lol the two things i hate the most. ill check it out next thursday if im not doing anything. how many sf4 cabs are there? please say 4 or more…

4 machines at the moment, and he says he’s getting 2 more next week. (They might not be in by thursday though.)

He’s also getting Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, but I doubt that will be free play.

Yes, it’s still going. It was closed on New Years though.

I haven’t been for the last three weeks (too poor, Christmas, and then new years.) but I’ll be there this week so if you come you can kick my ass.

There is three SFIV machines now but I think they got rid of the SFII which is too bad. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Blazblue are also there but they are not free play. They are only 50 yen though.

I was there last week and they still had the signs up for the deal. There also was 6 cabs with sf4 all crt cabs (not the vewlix cabs)

Oh good. At the rate I’m going Imma be broke in a week, I need free play lol. Though Shibuya is an hour away from my place… I’ll drop by whenever I have things to do in Tokyo.

TvC isn’t freeplay but it is 50 yen… I think I mentioned that earlier.

I’ve seen one or two decent players at TvC but not nearly as many as on SFIV.
