I only hear the occasional negative comment here and there; most people seem to be into it… Twitter. From day 1, I never really saw the point in this… it’s like a more limited version of facebook. The upside is that certain hot ass celebrities will show hot pictures of themselves on it. Outside of that, if Twitter were to be nonexistent tomorrow I’d be fine with that. It’s not like in Twitter’s absence there would suddenly be a shortage of sexy pictures on the internet…and video always beats pictures when it comes to pure sex appeal anyway.

People Are Strange(my theme music, yep)-- I actually prefer the way it sounds on The Lost Boys soundtrack, from “Echo & the Bunnymen”, as opposed to The Doors. This bias may be because I heard the “E&tB” version many times before hearing The Doors.

I’ve never heard (at least often) that it’s a good movie. I’ve heard it’s a good action movie, or it’s a good movie (under implied action movie standards) by many, but mostly anyone can tell that the other parts of the movie aren’t well explored.
Underrated in terms of actual low ratings leading to cancellation? Maybe (unless it’s because of toys sales), but definitely not underrated in terms of quality or instant watchability. The show was that obvious charisma that sticks with you even if you saw just one episode.
That goes for so many older Soul/Neo-Soul/R&B artists who don’t get the recognition they deserve. The audience for the genre isn’t big enough, or the amount of music being made is too much to keep up with and certain artists get lost in the process of discoverability .

I think neither applies in this case. I think there is plenty of good soul/neo-soul/r&b out there. The problem is and always will be you have to fight through all the garbage out especially on stuff like terrestrial radio. That applies to hip-hop and jazz too.
Just don’t listen to the radio. It’s a semi-decent base to begin a search for good music, but a lot of the best songs I’ve heard have never/ will never get played on the radio.
It happens with every “big” anime that people claim is going to “save” anime.
You have a decent show that gets blown out of proportion, people freak out, non anime watchers will watch it once on netflix, lots of pornographic doujin are made and nothing changes in the long run.
