Unpopular TV/comic/anime/music/general media opinions -NO POLITIC TALK

I agree about Big…the fact he’s even mentioned up there is a joke, least of all next to Tupac. The thing about Pac though was that he was a renaissance man and his influence was huge even well before he died. It’s not about him being the scientifically best lyricist, but he’s certainly the greatest figure in hip hop.

-Roundabout by Yes is one of, if not the greatest outro song to a show. <3 jojo’s
-Kira > Dio (both are awesome though)
-I liked Spiderman 3 despite some of it’s dumb moments

Leftovers had the 2nd best television scene all year (behind True Detective).

Someone had said something about Batman the Brave and the bold Being the best batman cartoon, and I think I am absolutely forced to agree.

They brought Mystery inc and fucking Space ghost to the show, that makes this shit THE BEST Batman.

Batman: The Animated Series will always be top for me. Though Brave and the Bold takes the third spot as my favorite Batman series. I would love for another take on that Batman.

The Dark Knight Rises was the weakest of the Nolan trilogy.

Bane. Hardy wasn’t Bane. Not nearly big enough, and Irish traveler accent !=Brazilian accent. And yes, it matters. I first saw the movie on blu-ray. Having the screen ratio fluctuate based on which scenes had been filmed for IMAX was jarring and completely unacceptable.

Otherwise, it was pretty good. Being the worst film in a great trilogy isn’t so bad.

Mask of the Phantasm is still GOAT Batman movie.

How does this count as an “unpopular opinion”?

I could cite the IMDB ratings or consensus among people I know, in regards to the Nolan trilogy.

Also, I don’t know anyone that ranks MotP as the best Batman movie.

Unpopular opinion:

Bryan Cranston isn’t a great actor.

NBC’s Passions was one of the greatest shows in day-time tv history… it was one of those things that did the 180 and became great because of how off the damn wall and crazy it is. The typical smokin’ hot women you expect to see on a soap opera— with all kinds of insane shit like a magically conjured giant turkey (a Thanksgiving episode, of course), demons in the closet, a centuries-old witch with a doll that came to life and drank martinis, a zombie clone, the evil patriarch of the rich family going on a hunt for the Holy Grail (to achieve immortality) a chimp that was a nurse for an old woman, and all kinds of other bizarre shit I can’t even recall right now. It’s a damn shame if anyone missed out on all that.

*I just remembered more-- there was one character, man… a transgender mask-wearing homicidal freak that was played by a former Power Ranger. (*he was the Blue Ranger from the Wild Force season)

Most action figure toy lines were basically half-ass until Todd McFarlane showed up.

…and I can’t remember how recent they showed up to the game in terms of DBZ-- but Irwin Toys were the first ones to make them look good. DBZ figures were generally awful until the ones made by that company. I’m guessing most in that industry just didn’t care too much if the figures were not accurate to what kids were seeing in the shows and the comics. That annoyed the hell out of me when a figure simply did not have the correct likeness of what was on television.

That legendary Thursday Night Prime lineup from NBC back in the day-- Family Ties was the weakest link there. It was not on the same level of quality with Cosby Show, Night Court and Cheers.

*It’s amazing that the Wheel of Fortune is STILL on. I bet even Pat Sajack himself is surprised that it’s still going on today.

I think the whole Nolan Trilogy is boring as hell.

I think “Superman” by Goldfinger, is one of the gayest songs in existence.,

I don’t find The Lonely Island to be funny

So what’s your 2nd favorite Batman series?

I’m guessing Batman Beyond. That’s mine, anyway.

Batman Beyond.

B)

Static is hands down the best DC hero. I could be a bit bias but knowing of the character and growing up watching his cartoon. I could relate to his shit alot. And I really enjoyed the shit that goes on in his storyline. I think this is because he’s DCs Spider-Man in a sense. Where he’s Virgil first and Static 2nd in the samw way Peter is 1st and Spidey js 2nd.

Because alot of DC heroes just don’t seem interesting as actual characters. And rhe villains and etc don’t appeal. But again I personally feel this way because I relate to him alot and he gives off the Spider-Man vibe

Also Justice League is the as a collective of characters are wack as hell and only Batman and Flash are interesting as standalone heroes

Someone needs to read new 52 I’d say the best books out are Wonder Woman and Aquaman

I know Static New 52 did bad. I heard it was due to fucked up writing. Not a fan lf Wonder Woman or Aquaman as characters in the slightest
