I agree. The only good thing to come out of that game was the actual enhanced game-play. The rest? I can do without.
Fatman was the dumbest fucking villain ever.
Dont hurt me butā¦
I think the first Ape Escape was extremely fun and had good music. Me and my sis played that game all the time.
Ape Escape is amazing,
I didnt like the bosses in MGS4 either, can anyone say Yes Emo. But I think MGS4 is severly overrated as it is, it is a good game but it isnt the god like game people made it out to be. Although it does seem alot of that is starting to die down in the last couple of months.
Yes MGS2 is the worst MG by far, and Raiden still sucks sorry.
I think people had enough of the āstandard resident evilā and didnt want another one like that. THAT would have been ābooooorrrrrringā. re4 had some scare factorā¦at least first time around.
re4 is one of the best game ever created(no much of an UNPOPULAR opinion)
not an unpopular opinion. everyone will agree with you on that one. ape escape was amazing.
Did anyone jumping down my throat read the thread title or just post aimlessly?
I didnt think i had to put āimoā since this is the ** unpopular ** OPINION thread.
Re 4 sucked. It fucking blew. Id rather play Carrier for DC than that shit show that was RE4.
Ill wait here for everyone to say my taste in games sucks.
one more thing to say - i know people who played and loved re 4 yet still thought it was way too much of a drastic change and thought that old RE was still where its at. Re4 is wayyyy too different to be considered a resident evil game
imo
Youāre right.
It was actually good.
Ah yes, I miss this thread but I see a too many popular opinions in here. GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE!!!
In other news āin my opinionā Folklore murders everything that Square Enix shat out its ass in the last 15 years on art direction alone. Lets not even bring game mechanics into itā¦
You know what I hate? Fuckers who canāt let go of the pastā¦
Fuckers who keep saying āWah wah wah the newest X game doesnāt play like the first 2 games, therefore IT SUCKS!ā (namely, in the case of RE)
Then you have douchebags who say āSF 4 offers NOTHING innovative. It sucks!ā
Wish you assholes would make up your GODDAMN minds! :annoy:
The best brawler out there right now is the Streets of Rage remake on bombergames.net
Oh and Warriors Orochi 2 when it comes out. Yeah I know itās Chinese Madden but I still play the hell out of those games.
ya we know it is an opinion thread, but im sure people can back up their opinions with something that makes sense and you can be like ya i can see why they said that based on their explanationā¦
but really, you wont have any logical bases for re4 for being bad OR even more dramatic fucking blowing, as you already proved with your āi want my plantā argumentā¦
i also dont know how you played re4 and not say that shit wasnt tense or atmosphericā¦when you tell me shit like that it makes me question whether you even played the game or not⦠or either that or your ability to unbiased and analyze a gameā¦

Yea, because RE zero was where it was at. lol
Iāve never played any Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Halo, Gears of War, post-'94 Madden, any Final Fantasy after 3/6, World of Warcraft, or virtually any other non-fighting game for the PS2, Xbox, PS3, or Xbox 360, not to mention any PC game since Warcraft 3. I think I played Kingdom Hearts for a few hours on the PS2, and thatās it.
And you know? Because screw story-based games, first person shooters, sports games, and massively multiplayer online games. If I wanted a story Iād read a book or watch a movie, if I wanted sports Iād play real sports, and if I wanted to do something with other people Iād do something with other people in real life. All I want is a good strategy game, and that means I play exclusively in the fighting and rts genres.
theres probably more strategy in high level fps games than fighting games or rts gamesā¦

Although high level FPS does have loads of strategy, Iām sure that RTS is the king.
high level strategy in fps? uhh⦠no. games are hardly ever won or lost based on strategy.
rts games are definitely won and lost based on strategy⦠fighters are not so much strategy as they are multiple rock paper scissors games over a single game.
I played counterstrike for a while near the turn of the millenium and found that it definitely had strategic value, but in the end Iād rather just play 1v1 strategy games than cooperative ones. Also, Iām not sure that rts games are actually more strategic than fighting games, I think theyāre both really strategic
You must not be very good.
Sega couldāve made it in the console market. Their probablem was never hardware or peripherals, their problem was marketing. I hardly remember Sega commercials, on TV, but oh, how I remember the Nintendo/Sony commercials of yesteryear. The Genesis was solid, the 32X couldāve been pushed better, and done more things, and the Saturn never got a single push it deserved.
Intellivision > Atari
The Resident Evil series needs to be put to sleep.
Stop trying to say youāre a gamer if the only games on your XBL Gamercard is Guitar Hero III and Rock Band. Youāre just an emo girl trying to look cool.
Even still, the above games will cause an influx in music lessons, possibly even reigniting the arts in schools.
Katamari is retarded. I can roll crap into balls in real life too, but I donāt call it a game.
Final Fantasy VIII was much better, in terms of story, than Final Fantasy VII.
