Unpopular gaming opinions SECOND IMPACT

Yeah, that pissed me off. I needed my “missingno”. :shake:

R/B >>> Any pokemon game to ever follow. It was just straight up traveling, and battles. None of that bullshit.

No more 99 rare candies :frowning:

Missingno was such a badass, he is also the heaviest Pokemon in any of the games if you count him. xD

Hey the best things Blizzard made aside from their RTS is The Lost Vikings and Rock N Roll Racing.

The only thing yellow had over R/B was that you could get all 3 starters without trading. Also the art of the pokemon were better in Yellow.

I loved GSC, but the Gym Leaders and Elite four were dumb easy. They made it harder in R/S but it was still too easy. The only hard gym leader in GSC was Whitney. FUCK MILTANK, I picked Cyndaquil as my starter and rollout kept raping my Quilava. Back then I didnt know weaknesses too well. Rollout peaced out Scyther that I caught from the bug catching contest too. 4x weakness to rock

Fucking Miltank kept using attract as well. EVERYONE on my team was fucking male. I hated that shit sooooo much.

I agree with hatred edge, that most of the designs from Ruby/Sapphire and onward are just straight up garbage. The only generation III pokemon that I really liked were Grovyle and Swellow. Swellow had guts and STAB from facade. That shit was so awesome. I remember in the double battle with Steven (his japanese name is Daigo,  ) his Skarmory used toxic on my Swellow. Then I fucked up Team Magma, like Japan does to US at SBO.

The only thing I know about D/P is Garchomp, I read the gamefaqs boards for D/P one day. Everyone was crying themselves to sleep over this motherfucker

EDIT: I noticed from the jump Gengar has been OU, speedy and unpredictable. Getting better and better with each generation. Gengar is my favorite ghost type. Thanks gamefreak for not fucking up my nigga Gengar

2nd edit: While I’m on the subject, trading requirements to evolve pokemon is the dumbest shit ever. When I had Crystal, I traded my haunter to this dude for his Charmander. It evolved into Gengar. I needed a Gengar, and this motherfucker wouldnt give it back. I should’ve beat the shit out of him and did the link shit myself.

It has been proven on Gamefaqs that Garchomp is god, and if you argue, you will lose.
Miltank is a bitch, srly.
RSE was my favorite generation, hands down, don’t ask why, I just loved it.
:edit:
I also hate those trading evo’s, the only real good thing now is that there is a GTS glitch in D/P that makes it so that you can evo is while in the GTS, but you have to find another trade, and good luck with that.

I actually liked the game, I popped that shit up on my emulator and I got into it. I just dont like most of the generation III pokemon. I dislike them so much, I hacked that shit and playthrough it with pokemon not even in the game. You’re not even going to competitive battle with a fucking emulator. So whats the point.

Yeah, I have a Medicham (another one of my faves I forgot to mention) with skill swap for double battles. Pure Power Slaking baby!

Oh, and all th RSE gym leaders are fucking gay.
The 2nd fighting gym leader, I forgot his name, I had to go out and catch a fucking Sableye to beat him.

Winona, the flying gym leader, the only way I was able to beat her was to have Loudred out on her Swablu, while it tried to perish song, and use howl and trying to kill everything.

Liza and Tate are impossible.

My Tailow (non-hacked) owned the shit out of him. Winona gets the business from Milotics ice beam. The in-game trainers, including the leaders are so easy. On a different play through. I sweeped Winona with Plusle

Liza and Tate all of their pokemon had a weakness to water. It was like psychic/rock or psychic/ground. Once again, Milotic gave them the business.

I hacked my emu to get Milotic though. I did NOT feel like doing that shit to get Feebas.

  1. The NPD numbers are still clearly not in the PS3’s favor:
  • Nintendo DS: 561.9K
  • Nintendo Wii: 381.8K
  • Sony PSP: 290.1K [Updated]
  • Sony PlayStation 2: 270.7K (via Sony press release)
  • Microsoft Xbox 360: 198.4K
  • Sony PlayStation 3: 98.5K

  1. How am I the one being a moron? I’m at least seeking out evidence to back up what I’m saying.

It was actually harder in RSE? Cause I clearly remember in Ruby beating every gym leader and elite 4 member using just Blaziken. You can rape the entire game with your starter. Can you do something like that in GSC?

Then again, I remember raping the entire elite 4 in Pearl with Gyarados. Dragon Dance maxed out+anything=GGPO all of their pokemon.

Stupid peliper does like no damage to any of them with surf…
I usually leaf blade them, but Scaptile dies in a hit.

Well, i guess levels=/= difficulty

But yeah, in GSC you can rape the game with your starter. I did it with Typhlosion. The first time I played it before taking it seriously. I used no one in battle but Typhlosion, everyone else was a HM slave. It’s a little hard with Whitney though, but it can be done.

I see your problem now, Pelipers special attack is terrible. Fucking NU piece of shit.

I wanted to get my move tutors for the elemental punches, and the IV guy is also helpful for breeding.

This ain’t a pokemon thread =/

That said, GSC was the best gen. the rest, except R/B sucked.

I loved Pokemon, till I figured out going grinding for good IV’s/natures/getting effort points is just as bad as playing an MMORPG. You just aren’t a paying for it.

The man’s man monster breeding game is Monster Rancher. Man Tecmo fucked that game up in MR4 by making it some assy shit RPG game.

Well in all fairness I think both JGR and tony hawk were going for two different directions as far as design, but if you got a crack addiction multiplayer you are going to win 90% of the time in my eyes, which is what hawk 2 did. They did graffiti mode better than a game about graffiti .

Nothing is touching OoT, but Wind Waker handled its shit, it was just too easy of a game and the triforce shard shit was trying to make up for it and that failed miserably.

Link’s Awakening >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all that other new Zelda crap

Well Pokemon was originally supposed to be heavy multiplayer and kill time with an easy single player (like halo 3 is now). The problem was that the link cable was a shitty way to handle multiplayer. When niggas tried to get their battle on during lunch/recess the schools banned gameboys. So you had to play your neighborhood kids, and them niggas didn’t know what was up.

Urge to play pokemon…rising…

Link’s Awakening is overrated. As is Ocarina of Time.
