The Sega Genesisās best games ran over the SNESās equivalents, in most cases, with a steamroller. I mean Shinobi III and Gunstar Heroes by themselves eclipse the SNES library.
MK3 was the best MK (for whatever thatās worth) NOT MK2 like people inconspicuously think.
Vagrant Story was highly overrated.
And Poy Poy > Bomberman 64.
MGS4 is already overrated, it is a good game but people are treating it like the best game ever.
Lost Odyssey is the new best new game you have never played.
lost odysseys story content (which is what RPGās are supposed to be about) is head and shoulders above a lot of games

Agreed on Vagrant Story. The graphics still impress though, because you realize the PS1 produced THAT. Bomberman 64ās multiplayer was actually pretty fun. Not as good as classic Bomberman, but still fun.
Kingdom Hearts is bullshit. The only reason people tolerate it is because of the Square/Disney collaboration. Sora is one annoying motherfucker in KH2. I hate the Gummi ship with a passion. And fuck Atlantis. Tetsuya Nomura should just stick with art. If Kingdom Hearts is the future of action RPGs, I want no part of it.
On the subject of Square Enix RPGs, I didnāt care for Crisis Core, either. What kind of game dishes out powerful attacks at random without you doing anything directly and at little/no cost? The missions had no variety, eitherā¦they were all the same. Youāre given these elaborate descriptions of the missions, but it just boiled down to ākill the target.ā If Crisis Core is the future of action RPGs, I want no part of it.
