@PoPimpus I didnât like Leon much(although I enjoy his game, but hate the 2nd PS2 CV.) I liked Gabriel more, and even though Reinhardt isnât a Belmont and neither is John Morris, I liked them both over him too.

Even though the characters and story of PoR was absolutely fucking terrible, the gameplay and castle design was pretty cool. I guess Juste is the worst because Harmony is, imo, one of the worst games in the series and one of the shittiest Metroidvaniaâs.

Harmony of Dissonance is definitely one of the most horrible ones outside of ridiculous Maxim bullshit. Peeps who havenât seen the SDA speedrun should check it out, it wonât take long lol. CV2 had shitty translation issues and annoying grinding, but for its time you could still argue it was better than Harmony, which was mediocre, boring, and way too easy in general.
Also, as an example of why people will say SF4 is slow: go fire it up and get a feel for how much animation there is in Boxerâs c.HK. Now do the same in ST or CvS2. Regardless of how certain characters play, a lot of the arguably over-animated moves can make the game feel âoffâ for some people. Iâll still take it over the new KI though. I got to see that shit irl for the first time yesterday, and the animation still felt stilted and ugly even in 60 fps. It just makes me wish most 2.5d games took more after Battle Fantasia. Regardless of the character design in that game, besides the floatiness of characters walking I feel it did a far better job in terms of animation than the aforementioned games. As much as I hate MvC3 otherwise, that game did an overall solid job with it too .

If Simon was really meant to have hair past his shoulders like Arnold in Conan, his sprite would have been drawn like Trevors. I think Simon just came out looking like Arnold in the covers because the artists couldnât paint without using hollywood photos as reference.
