Unpopular gaming opinions SECOND IMPACT

animu >> cartoons

stop being racist to anime fans.

I dated a girl in college who looked like animu Simon. She was pretty hot.

Richter mode is the only way to get any challenge out of SotN.

there are so many OP weapons Alucard can get. Crissaegrim = game is pretty much beaten. But even then some weapons are more broken than others. Fist based/small weapons are the most powerful basic weapons because of the amount of critical hits are higher than other, combined with rapid attacks.

SotN weapon tier list:

S tier = Crisseagrim

A tier = fist based weapons, combat knife

B tier = elemental/special one handed blades

C tier = one handed swords, maces, and other short swords.

D tier = bare fists

Roll tier = two handed weapons.

Muramasa is the strongest weapon in the game since if you bother to max it out you can almost one shot everything.
But the game is broken as fuck and theres a lot of op shit in it so it doesnt really matter.

Bitches don’t know bout my Muramasa. My favorite weapon in videogames.

Especially in Castlevania.

Never leave a save point without it.

In the subject of shitty Belmonts I’m nominating this guy on awful design alone

Alucard Shield + Shield Rod wooo

Stop talking about castlevania, I’m not OG enough to love CV so much that I know every character design. I was more of a mario guy.

And megaman, but I’m not OG megaman enough to know all the theme songs… Maybe I’m just not OG enough

Rune Sword for the Black Dynamite moment.

“Thew that shit before I walked in the room!”

Thank you. Someone actually played the game. Sense of and height is just…all kinds of outrageous. Online multiplayer aspect was innovative as hell for a console environment. Quality title.

The problemss with SSX2012 are that a lot of the courses are garbage full of huge pit falls that end the run, crashing is damn near impossible, and the riding on walls thing makes using tunnels 10x harder then it should be. Wing Suit breaks the game to. Also grinding on rails is easy mode as fuck and the way you grind some object being different from others is really weird and inconsistant as a mechanic. It’s odd.

I really like the game but it’s no where near as good as SSX3 or Tricky where.

Big Eddie Mountain DLC or whatever was so fucking worth it tho.

Biggest problem with new SSX is no splitscreen so when it eventually goes offline, you will NEVER again play with another person.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older but I’m having less of an incentive each day to play games…like 1 shot in megaman is more statisfying than the entire uncharted series…idk

It’s because megaman has much better design behind it than uncharted does.

haha, true

Not really an unpopular opinion to most over the age of 25.

At 35 i’ve become extremely skeptical about the boasts of developers/gaming media about current games
I was just reading in brief about the next two big games that will change the face of fps games titanfall and destiny, and to be fair destiny seemed ok but titanfall i had to laugh.

when the game changer is that you can ride in a mech or use a jetpack says it all really

Titan fall is shaping up to be incredibly mediocre. WHAT IF INSTEAD OF VEHICLES IN BATTLEFIELD IT WAS A MECH GUYS?

“Oh you mean in like all these games that had similar things and infantry were really shit?” “NO THIS TIME IT’LL CHANGE FPS GAMES FOREVER”

Destiny looks like it doesn’t do anything more interesting than what Unreal Championship 2 did already, of course if I’m wrong I’ll eat my hat and then get to play a great game.

Sounds like someone needs to emulate some classic Castlevania games to experience one of gamings most timeless game series.

Pretty much.

The sad thing is that these gameplay mechanics, while old to us or anyone who’s actually played FPS games other than CoD realize that it’s all been done before, but to your average CoD fanboy, it’ll be new to them.

Section 8: Prejudice=most slept on FPS game of this generation, and for 10-15 bucks it’s some of the biggest value you can get for your dollar, too.

I suppose this is what happens when publishers spend half the budget of their games on marketing alone and developers are more concerned in making sure their games have high production values rather than actually innovating or improving game mechanics and level design.

It’s usually more than half
