If they had more games like this, I would bring down their average, but they still had more good than bad. When Sega games are good, they can easily go toe-to-toe with what their competitors put out in the same genre, if not outpace the competitons entirely( fighting and racing games).
The only things I would dock their overall score on this gen, is releases and consumer confidence. There is a quote about VF that goes “Sega gives the hardcore what they want, yet the majority of the hardcore still ignore it.” yet this can apply to all their good games however. This leads to games not being released VF4:FT, VF5:R, VC sequels , VO:Cyber Troopers (wtf at this) and the (possibly) only one Yakuza title (Y5 I won’t count out just yet) being left out. This leads to …
Lack of consumer confidence. Meaning more stuff like Sega Cup (which is supposed to be an annual event, but we’ll see) and VF Circuit, and less bs like they did to Shining Force fans. Bringing sequels over in a timely manner if at all is where they need to step it up. In the West they are a niche of a niche so it’d be nice to see them budget accordingly so we don’t have repeasts of the above listed games happening.
So when its early 2000’s, and im a child, Im not allowed to like a cartoon in the early 2000’s? That’s about retarded
Why dont you go jack off to your shitty disney cartoons from the 70’s and 80’s old ass motherfucker.
That’s fine that you didnt like the show. I could give two fucks about that. But dont be tellin people to suck a dick and not expect to hear shit about it.
Im not pissed. just tellin him not to tell somebody to suck a dick just because of when they were born. Or maybe its his way of coping with the fact that hes closer to death than I am by doing some weird high horse shit about how hes older. Who knows.
Cry me a river you fucking novice. I was 11 when Ed Edd n Eddy dropped in 99’; I still thought that shit was gay back then.
You kids were probably 5 years old when Ed Edd n Eddy premiered.
Anybody who still likes the show to this day is probably an overgrown 18/19 year old who can’t get over his childhood. Niccas probably thinkin’ the Playstation 2 and Gamecube are old-school too, lol.
What exactly am I a novice to? Existence? I actually was 5 when that show came out. The difference of why you thought it was gay, and i thought it was funny, is because you were 11, and I was 5. Perception is different with age. I don’t even watch TV like I used to, so no i dont really care about the show anymore. It just annoys me that you’re acting like an idiot just because people were born after you and enjoyed something that you didnt. So you can suck a fat one kid.
I don’t even give a fuck about your reasons to hate EEE, but what really pisses me off is this damn mentality of people like you who think kids shouldn’t be able to talk about 9/11. Who the fuck are you to say that I have no right to recount MY experience of 9/11? We’ve ALL, both young and old, had different experiences and stories of our first time learning about such a major event in history. Why let age differences be a factor in who is allowed to speak and who’s not? Are you serious? Give kids more credit because we know and experience a lot more than you think we do. And in the almighty words of Stinkmeaner,
I never understood the appeal of cartoons and anime past the age of 12, outside of ones meant to be funny like Archer, Assy Mcgee and South Park. Those I can kind of understand.
Visiting various game forums and seeing grown men openly talk about cartoons and anime is still really fucking weird to me. Then I realize most of these people still have the mentality of a 12-year old, so things start to make sense again.
I say it depends on what cartoon, I mean, what about the sake of good animation and smart writing? Some cartoons we remember the most actually are shitty, and is mostly nostalgia, but there’s a lot of good stuff out there.
