FF6 my be held in such high regards but it’s not without reason, it’s solid everywhere it counts but I won’t go much into it. In regards to kefka, Im not sure why you would say he’s lame, I mean he’s not a complex character but that’s his charm. He’s an asshole and evil just because, no overly complex backstory, no prophecy, just he’s an asshole, and a clown.

Yea I didn’t think I’d have to get into a conversation about this since it’s the unpopular opinions thread. The point is to be able to just say how you feel isn’t it? I’ve read a lot of stuff in here that makes me go “Now hold on a second here” but I try not to say anything because thats rather the point of the topic.

I’m going to go say that FFX-2 is better than that POS FFX. The battle system was pretty awesome. The story was so corny that it was awesome too. FFX was just sappy that it didn’t even want to make me pay attention to the story.
Which is funny because you’d think if people were really saying something unpopular, then more people would be arguing…
It’s automatically implied that what you’re stating is your own personal opinion giving the nature of the thread. People aren’t necessarily looking to argue. If you want to talk about it, that’s one thing. However it seems kinda stupid to argue with people or try to prove them wrong.
You’re right that’s my bad, can’t say I wouldn’t have asked tho. Unpopular opinion it may be but can’t say I wouldn’t mind hearing peoples opinions on that. Not like I was forcing my opinion on the matter, as far as I know anyway.

I’d say a lot of people will agree with you on this believe it or not. The only reason people disagree is because either A)they haven’t played the game or B)they’re insecure about playing a game full of girly ishness (which is funny but whatevs).
FF8 and FF9 are better than FF7.
FF7 is the second worst behind FF10/X2.
FF is only getting progressively worse.
Suikoden 1 and 2 are better than any FF.
After S1&2 the series doesn’t matter at all.
Mega Man X: Command Mission was the sickest shit made with sex music.
God of War was boring/ass after the first one. I’m so sick of Kratos.
X-2’s whole system was really well done, a shame it happened to be looked. The premise of the game was fun, was a nice break from the standard rpg fare.

Also I really like FFX-2 as well. The battle system is so fast paced and hectic and I like Job systems a lot. I also think X-2 has the second best Final Fantasy minigame. I wasted untold hours on that goofy coint game which saying a lot cause I abhor math lol. That games just behind Triple Triad lol.

Seriously, I loved FFVI but FFT > all other FF games.
Also, on the subject of unpopular opinion, I absolutely hated FFX-2’s battle system. It was way too fast to have that little direct control over the action, it just felt like ATB where the characters and monsters all had Haste. ._.
RE4 is one of many, many games. Most of which have garbage controls, RE5 included. 4 was on the fence. Not as piss-poor as the rest but that doesn’t make it good by any stretch of the imagination.
That’s one of my favorite scenes in the game. Am I the only person who realizes that they were sounding like jackasses on purpose?

Kirby Superstar was the greatest Kirby game of all time, I getting tired of people saying Kirby for NES was better, yeah, better at sucking ass!
Super Mario World was the greatest Mario game of all time. Yeah Mario 3 was good, but the music was so goddamn boring at times.

To this day, there hasn’t been any gaming system that topped SNES games in best music and sound. I just love the whole use of Echoing sound effects, lots of Organ Piano beats, and the sound effects of Marble’s Clacking together in a majority of all the SNES games (Super Mario World was a great example).
Legacy of Kain Blood Omen was the best Legacy of Kain game of all time, I did not care for Soul Reaver!
dragon age origins was pretty bad. not even worthy of a nomination for game of the year.
