One Piece, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and pretty much 90% of Shonen Jump’s current catalog are complete garbage.
GARBAGE. Kamina is the worst “cool” guy of all time, he is despicably uninteresting and obnoxious. And nobody else in the show can be passed off as likable.
Mushi-shi, Blade of the Immortal, Bakemonogatari and Seirei no Moribito are the only somewhat recent endeavors that keep me remotely interested in anime/manga.
Everything else is so unbelievably awful I can’t even comprehend.
Oh, and every Gundam series sucked except for 08th MS Team.
I would disagree with you but I think you must be right. Somehow this shit sells, so it must be popular somehow. I know its popular enough to have some kind of game and some crap. I think there was something like Queen’s blade with SNK fighters too. Which were basically a bunch of gravure shots of them. It must be those people with that anime room (I don’t have that picture for reference )
Yeah, eva is wayyyy over rated. I’ve said that since the first time i saw it and saw all the stupid meaningless “symbols.” Right away i knew that people are gonna think too deep into that shiet. “OH LOOK A CROSS! OMG THOSE THINGS ARE CALLED ANGELS! THIS ANIME IS SOOOO DEEEEP!!!” cmon now… STFU!
The only anime that i liked that came from those guys was called Kare Kano. That anime is funny and also has strong character developments as well as good insights to each character.
One piece is actually good. The first time i saw it back in like 03’ or something, i HATED it. The artwork was garbage and the main character was mad annoying and ugly, as well as the villain in that episode. After i saw that, i never watched anymore episodes until maybe two years later because it was still ongoing and i thought it wouldve died out already. So i decided to watch the 2nd episode and more just for the hell of it cuz i was bored. And it turned out, after they introduced most of the characters, the story is actually really good because its creative and original. And the more characters you see, the more interesting things get.
-Moe is the best thing to happen to anime
-Male characters are largely unnecessary
-Anime contains secret messages which can only be decoded by drugs (and is made better).
-Eva sucks.
-Dubs are incorrect/bad/wrong because anime characters speak animese, not English. No English speaking person acts/looks like that. Its a silly, make believe language for a silly, make believe world.
Mai Hime is not what you think it is, its more about the characters and plot. Even though you might think you know whats going on, the plot twist will keep you watching the show, its not corny like Sailor Moon, or other shows your thinking about.
-I think Honey and Clover was the best anime in the last 7 or so years.
-Scryed is without question the worst anime ever made.
-Gravitation is actually a pretty tight romance anime.
