Yea Diebuster is my second favorite work by them with FLCL being the first. Both directed by the same guy to. Gunbuster was really cool to.
Not sure how unpopular this opinion is, but I wish Adult Swim would run Ranma 1/2. JUST because I dont want to have to collect the entire series/OVAs to see it all.
I can’t stand shit like Lucky Star, school girls and shit. Annoying as hell, and I don’t get turned on by that shit as much as I like fuckable little girls.

I personally don’t care for the Japanese names of shit, and it doesn’t sound right coming out of my mouth so I prefer not typing it either. I’ll leave it to the obsessive anime nerds and obsessive haters. I don’t say shit like “lolicon” or “hentai” on the regular. I say little girls and cartoon porn (shutup) now. Used to when I was really into anime, but then I realized how nerdy I sounded.
I only watch dubs for the most part, because I can’t stand most Japanese voices and hate seeing “-chan” and other Japanese words and phrases in the fucking subtitles. Does Shady speak Japanese? No, so make the subs in English if that’s your intention or don’t bother. If it’s something like “Bankai”, fine, but throwing Japanese formalities in there just because gets annoying, especially if I don’t know what any of that shit means. To this day I still don’t know what “-chan” is used for, and I don’t really care.
Off the dome only Japanese voices I like are most of the Hokuto No Ken voices, Norio Wakamoto, and that guy who does Ragna/Gintoki. So manly voices basically.
I never saw the appeal in FLCL, maybe I need to pay a bit more attention or something since people say its so great.
I really don’t like One Piece.

This can be true, but just like other media (like music and movies) there is good and bad. There’s obviously stuff meant to be mindless entertainment, and there’s also stuff meant to evoke some sort of emotion out of you through some form of artistic expression.

You speak the truth man. Im with you 100% there. To me there aren’t alot of animes that stand up to it, But the Manga of soul eater is even better than the anime is. Considering they did kind of leave off of the manga and end the anime abruptly. Maybe they were stuck to only doing a certain number of episodes?

yeah we do, boti is by far the best action thing (fuck movies, fuck cartoons, fuck mangas and all that) we got in this world at this moment. it outshines any action movie ever, it outshines any cartoon or comic or anime or manga ever, and i mean EVER. nobody knows of it, nobody knows how good it is. meaning its an unpopular opnion. if i said naruto or dbz instead of boti youd be right, but you aint. funny thing is most action based shit isnt even good.

I refuse to watch Graveyard of the Fireflies all the way through because someone once spoiled it the whole movie for me before I could rent it and now I just don’t care about watching it.
Meanwhile, I am thinking about buying the Berserk collection on DVD.
