Who’s the long-haired guy who plays at the Hub? Some random GameWorks guy was talking about getting worked by him. I couldn’t imagine who that would be.
I have long hair (nowadays) and look like a white mexican. I sometimes frequent GW to get my ass beat by this really good black guy that uses Gouki in 3s. My better game is marvel, and I like GW’s stiff ass 360 sticks. Usually there isn’t much competition at GW though, maybe on thursday nights when they have that hour card deal.
Also, I think that “new” cab is from Seattle center’s shitty ass “fun forest”. I used to work there, and it seemed be the exactly the same. I was the only mofo to play on that cab, so it is probably on the original set of buttons from at least three years ago.
Preppy should just move his cab from lanwerx down to the hub. We could also ban that cross handed guy from ever touching it. Fuck, let’s just ban his ass from the hub period.
I might have to come pay you guys a visit to see how well this new cabinet holds up, but the question that is still on my mind is, Is there still two cabinets over there? Because having people play on the other cabinet becasue I’m there playing is lame becasue after about 3 fights I’m stuck fighting the damn computer!!!

Hah, it’s actually pretty funny now. The big cabinet is 50 cents and the small cabinet is 25. People have to choose between losing or paying more. It’s great.

I wouldn’t recommend going to the hub until the sticks are fixed =) It’s great when the d on the joystick and the fp wire are touching. If you’re good, you can do Rp’s w/o pushing a button.
I’m not sure if any of you old schoolers remember me and my brother from the old Southcenter tournaments, but my kid brother Francis transferred to UW at the beginning of this quarter. He tells me that he doesn’t go to the HUB that often; but yeah, he’s there on campus if you remember him. I dunno if he still plays Marvel or T5 that much, but I’m sure if there’s a crowd, he’ll show up once in a while.
I’m not sure who’s interested (Jeff’s right next door), but the Lichtenstein exhibit at the Henry Art Gallery is pretty damned cool.
I also really liked their ‘150 works of art’ piece, but I think that’s being torn down today.

It would be fun to come down to the HUB and play sometime. It would be nice to get a chance to play without getting my ass handed to me for once. I’ll have to add a trip back to schhol to my unending list of things I need to do, but will never get around to.

Does anyone here make custom arcade sticks for the PS2? Or do you have any that you’d like to sell? I’ve been looking to get one from a local…(to save some dough on shipping).
You should come to Zach’s next thing. There will probably be plenty of Marvel competition before poker. Other than that if you wanna play sometime just give me a call. Sometimes we play a little bit over at Sean and Ian’s, and I also have some pretty nice sticks at my apartment too.
