since when was soul calibur 2 a popular game? how did it suddenly become a smash hit? how is it that NO ONE is playing tekken 5 and yet soul calibur 2 draws HUGE crowds ever single day?

but suddenly there seems to be a rebirth and a revival. i dont even recognize the ppl playing, they seem to be new. i dont know anything about the game, so i dunno what their skill level is, but i’m gonna go ahead and guess scrubby.

they’re literally there all the time. i usually have breaks from 1030 to 1130 and 130 onward, and theres always ppl playing.
I would rather fight you than that cross handed guy. At least I could learn something by taking your beatings, as opposed to taking on two anti air assists plus amazing randomness.
i lost to him a bunch of times today to his “msp” team. i was playing some garbage characters like storm lol.
i had like 0 hours of sleep having been up all night writing papers - and thats my excuse. i gotta say i was very pissed off. i wanted to sock him. he pisses me off for some reason i dunno why. how the hell did i lose to his msp? he doesn’t do shit. he just mashed buttons with magneto WTF
so then i picked iceman and humiliated him for a coupla rounds, before losing, and then i picked scrub and made him cry.
in conclusion: i hate that guy
Maybe you guys can help me out. I am kinda new to the area (Well, been here about a year, but still), so I have no idea where to find a good mall/arcade with CvS2 and/or 3S. The only 3S machine I have seen since moving here is on Ft. Lewis at the damn laundry mat and needless to say, there is no one playing that.
So any help you guys could give me would be appriciated. And sorry if this was answered in another post in this thread, but 15 pages of posts is hard to read through.
At this point in our dead arcade scene you really only have 2 choices. Go to Woodenville Lanwerx, where nobody goes, to find our relocated CvS2 and 3S tournament machines and play our “best” player Lifetimeboy. Or go to Gameworks in Seattle to play on the best maintained 3S cabinet ever against the techs and many exceptionally talented keep-away Akuma players. No CvS2 though. Or hook up with people and play at their house.

Gameworks has HELLA random black people that are randomly good at 3S. And all of them are like from my old neighborhood. Shit’s crazy, I played this one nigga that used Akuma and he had a good runaway game. I was really surprised, I only won one round against him. He looked like Bokeem Woodbine for anyone that knows who he is. Not to mention Justin, that guy is pretty good too.
So basically it’s either try my luck at the CvS2 machine at Lanwerx where I may or may not get to play someone, or head to Gameworks to play 3S where I have to chase runaway, air fireball tossing Akumas all day? Ahh…decisions, decisions. 
Looks like I may try my luck at Lanwerx, seeing as how CvS2 is more my game than anything. Not much of a 3S player (Hell, I play Necro if that tells ya anything ^_^), so I would venture to guess that the Akuma players would just frustrate me.
Is there ever get togethers at the arcades for tournaments or just to play? Granted I am only here till the 17th when leave starts, but I will be back around the 3rd or so.
Oh, and my bad for just jumping into your conversations here, just wanted to ask a few questions.

Um, UW just got a new machine and it looks just like Zach’s big cabinate. Where did it come from? It even has a coin holder so I know it’s from an arcade.
