For casuals, anyone can bring a setup for any game they’d prefer. If you do, please register on the Zotcade site as well (http://www.zotcade.com/byoc/). Just register for a console setup seat and note which game you’re bringing so we may track it. If you’re coming to just play, you don’t need to worry about signing up.
Bring your own controllers/joystick is highly suggested for this event. Complimentary Brook converters for PS3->PS4 are available for loan, but will likely be a hot commodity so sharing is a must.

The hardest 16 man bracket in SoCal. Come play with us here if you want to level up.

Kobe likes to stop by after going to the ARC just to watch Team Hori practice.

No pre-registration?

nah just show up and get bodied, ranbat this saturday!

You can prereg here if you’d like and I’ll add you to the bracket and make my life easier. I just need your name and you gamer tag. =)

Folks,

Just wanted to give this thread a little bump so everyone in SoCal can read about all the cool stuff we got going on this Summer. =]

TL:DR Mo’ tourney matches Mo’ leveling up!!!

I love the idea of bringing the modified swiss format of CCGs to the fighting game world. Looking forward to how it goes!

Yeah, the idea was inspired from my days of FNM and PTQ grinding (never did win that envelope, but I came close several times). We’re looking forward to seeing how this goes, too. Hopefully everyone has a good time and in the process improves their game. At the very least, it allows all all players (not just those that continually win) to experience playing a variety of other players in a tournament setting.

Will there be a Tuesday Casuals tomorrow (6/14/11)? Just got back from RevLA, will be attending NCR and all in all I’m just looking to meet new people!

Yes, we’ll have our casual sessions this week. In fact, I just posted all the information in the second post on this thread (thanks for reminding me). =]

Thanks, I’ll be there! Should I pack my PS3 or XB stick?

Pre registration , for Wed 22nd for Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
-Robert Adofo
-Mezzo

Any reason why you are switching to Sundays in July?

I would recommend you bring both, if it’s not too much trouble for you. Otherwise, you can check our Equipment section to see which console our players are bringing. Right now there’s a slight edge toward Xbox, but better to be safe than sorry, no?

I got you down, Mezzo. Thanks!

What are you talking about? All I see is…

06/15/2011 8:00pm AE
06/22/2011 8:00pm MvC3
06/29/2011 8:00pm AE
07/06/2011 8:00pm MvC3
07/13/2011 8:00pm AE
07/20/2011 8:00pm MvC3
07/27/2011 8:00pm (Reserved in case we have to post-pone a session)

Thanks for pointing out those typos. Great website, by the way. Oh, and thanks for adding UCI to the StreamMonsters calendar!

I can probably go to the session tomorrow, do you guys need a setup? I can bring 1-2 360s with AE and maybe 1-2 monitors if my friend is willing to help me out lol
