I pretty much figured it’d be Filia or Peacock since they are the faces of the series. They were the ones in old old prototype version of the game.
And there’s no way that Lab Zero would let a third party design a character’s playstyle before they do.
There was no way that was going to happen.
Don’t worry, I’ll do my best to push the notion to Seon about doing a PS3 port if it’s possible for them to do so. Since their main focus is on PC indie games, it’s only natural for them to work mostly on PC. Right now, I’ve been letting him know about trying to look into the options of the following platforms:
- PC (via Steam - a gimme)
- PS3
- Mac
Those are the main concerns I’m working on right now. If you’re wondering why I didn’t say Xbox…not one person ever mentioned it at tataki’s video or on Nyu-Media’s forums so I didn’t bother looking talking about it.
And damn…figured it was going to be Filia. Not that I’m complaining. Oh well…let’s see how much of a rushdown she’s going to be in this. lol

Please release on PS3. Easiest way for a fighter to become secluded is to only release it on PC.
I understand your feelings (and everyone else who thinks the same) on this subject but keep in mind that French-Bread is more prone to PC releases (since their doujin days as “Watanabe Seisakusyo”) but that is not saying it’s not possible to get a PS3 release as they have shown a working version using the PS3.
At any rate, all I can do is talk to Genkipetton about it and hope that he can get some word in to French-Bread & Ecole about it. Again, I’ll do my best to push the notion for a PS3 release along with PC.

"French Bread’s stream ended. Narita was pretty much all the time like “I’m not able talk about that right now…”
- Contract stuff about console version are pretty much finished, so they’re starting to see the end of the tunnel…
- UNIE Official Tournament begins around February. Details coming around the January.
- Talk about Skull Girls collaboration hasn’t progressed…
- Sega will be releasing info about Dengeki FC so they have nothing to talk about it.
- Making Official Setting Book or other kinds of UNI books is kinda troublesome since they don’t really draw “concept art” but start right away drawing sprites of characters… They joke that I’d be awesome if Dengeki published UNI light novel.
- Raito said he’s going to tune up Exe:Late’s songs before they’re going to be released on iTunes.
They promised the next stream will be on January 31th. On that stream we’ll finally be able to hear “some good news” "
My hype was almost gone but hearing that contract things for the console version have just about finished made me excited again.
Willing to bet that the news in January will be a release date.

Assuming a console release is happening, do you think French-Bread will keep Eltnum and Akatsuki as part of the roster or replace them with original characters?
Why would they go through the trouble of developing them just to replace them? What would be the point? Why do extra work with no benefit?
