Okay, I’m going to ask something but it’s pretty much to gauge interest and an opinion on the idea.
I’ve been in talks with Seon King at Nyu-Media about trying to get the rights to Gleam of Force, one of French-Bread’s doujin titles. Somehow, this brought us to talks about UNIBEXE:Late and he would be interested in working with French-Bread in trying to set something up for the title (at least on PC). Now keep in mind, these are only talks that we’ve had so this doesn’t confirm anything is going on as we just started talking about this recently this past week. Any way, it’s pretty much a simple question but what do you all think about the idea of Nyu-Media actually trying to secure the rights for UNIBEXE:Late? Would you buy it if they released it? Do you think it’s a good idea?
I simply want your thoughts on this and yes, I have permission from Seon King to ask this so this is an official question.
I would buy it in a heart beat. I’ve been hyped about it since it was announcement and have been following it still. Overall, I think it would be good step forward in a game. Its kind of hard to keep people’s interest if they have no way of playing it. I’ve been dying to play it for the longest time. If it came out on XBLA and PSN as well, I’d buy it on all 3 to show support.

I would buy this, especially if it was on pc.
To be honest I’d rather import the PS3 disk version if one happens, but any more exposure for the game is good.

Someone mind mentioning this on NeoGaf if it hasn’t been already? I was going to but then I remembered the whole email situation and can’t do it.
First off, I want to apologize to Seon King in regards to the post about this subject. I worded myself wrong in a sense saying that it was an “official question” as it was more of a biased question if not anything. For that, I apologize to both Seon and you all. But the good news is that King is impressed with the reaction the community has shown for their support of a localized version of UNIB and his interest in the game is higher than it was (he states that it was high to begin with but still…wow).
At any rate, I got another question but it’s unrelated to UNIB but more directed towards French-Bread/Ecole and Melty Blood. Can anyone provide any information or sources as to why Melty Blood was held back from being put on Steam? It’s my understanding that this is was because of Type-Moon but I’m uncertain. I’m asking this because (Seon)King wanted to know.
This is the only thing I’ve heard of regarding melty blood on steam.

Seems that after their done with Yatagarasu, things might be underway to get both UNIB & Melty Blood. Let’s hope this is the case.

yea same here, but if it only came out on PC i might pick it up.
Please don’t give up on porting both UNIB and MB to a digital PC distribution platform. Vanguard Princess is up on steam for goodness sake. Lets do this right!
