Right, but all the kick buttons are also wired into it. I was simply saying that I didn’t know if the MAK-Strike also has the JAMMA+ signals wired to the DB15. That is the information necessary to answer @UNW4NT3D.

According to the MAK site, they have the same NEO Pinout with button 5 and 6 wired in to the DB15, which is the way the ps2 converter is wired and the way any good SG is built. This guys perspective, it should work perfectly!
Sweet. @UNW4NT3D, I’ll post up when my DB15 converters are out
In other news, got the last of my parts in today and build up a couple of the latest Terminal Block version converters.
The short of it is they work fine, as expected (being so similar to the UD-CPS2 design). The rest of the prototypes should be built and ready to go to testers by the end of next week. After feedback I’ll do another board rev. with some minor changes and hopefully be in full production on the Terminal Block version by end of Feb./early March.
Also, a while back I ordered a few different USB interface cables off ebay to play with. Some people won’t have room to mount the PCB right up against their case or don’t have a solid means of securing the PCB in place, so extensions like this can be handy because they are small and ready to bolt directly to whatever case you are using. Here’s one that can be used with the alternate USB interface:
And of course you can use a standard A-B USB cable (like you would use with most printers) to make use of Neutrik panel mount connectors.
Bonus, for those of you who enjoy reading about people (me) doing stupid things:
I scratched my head a bit when neither board I just built worked right off. USB bootloader worked fine. Checked the 5V pin on the USB connector when a controller was hooked up and no power. Checked power into the power switch IC and 5V was present. Checked the rest of the pins on the power switch IC and Enable was high, as it would be on UD-CPS2. Then I remembered I’m using a totally different power switch IC (same function, but different mfr./part). Checked the data sheet and facepalmed. I ordered a version of that part with active low Enable, instead of active high. Thankfully, that power switch IC also comes in the active high flavour I need. I didn’t want to wait until the new parts came in to do my testing, so I cut the Enable trace, cludged in an inverter and it worked fine.

I think the Terminal Block version paired with a Xb1 or PS4 PCB would make great converters to next gen consoles.
Can’t wait; I’m wrapping up my Supergun build right now and I’m saving a spot in there for these. I have a workaround on it to tide me over until these become readily available, though, but I’m itching just to use USB directly on the unit…
I almost want to take one of these, combine it with an FGW Converter, as well as an MC Cthulhu, a PS360+ (or any other 360 PCB), along with a PS4 and XBO controllers, so that I can have an “almost-anything-on-everything” adaptor.
bookmarked
i’m interested, I was thinking in buying the ps2 converter from etokki but since this is cheaper and I can use USB controllers makes it better for my consolized MVS.
Mounting holes! Perfect! How close to the final product dimensions do you think you are? I’m definitely interested in trying one of these out in a SG build to provide honest feedback… but I can’t use them if I can’t screw them in!
Do want.
My money is ready!
I just got a namco 256 board that I want to build a supergun for. These will do the trick, I’ll order some when ready!
Prototypes for beta testers should be finished tomorrow and shipping this week!

Sweet!!! Very excited.
Oh neat. I gotta keep my eyes out for when they are for sale
Tbh if the screw terminal version is available much before the DB15 version then I might just get that, The MAK strike has screw terminals for inputs too so I could piggy back it easy enough.
same here
Thanks Brian, I got the boards in today. I tested to see if it will recognize the Dual Shock 4 and Xbox One controllers, but it didn’t. It recognized a DS3 controller so thats good.
Got mine today. Did you post a pin out diagram? Not that it’s hard, but the terminals are covering some of the screen.
Just sent an e-mail to everyone. Yeah, screen print will definitely be adjusted on the final version

Received. I like it! I’d recommend for those out there that they wire SELECT up to the COIN switch for SuperGun use. I can verify this easily, but I am already posting…
The GND is common ground on this board, yes? GND on both sides are electrically connected?
Yeah, I think most people are accustom to that from Neo-Geo controller setups.
You don’t have an ohmeter? Yes, GND is common throughout.
