FYI, you cannot even do that in vanilla. Double jumping does not yield any additional actions. Only fly does. Since fly is EASILY cancelled by divekick, I don’t see this as a major buff.
what are you talking about… in vanilla she can double jump and still throw out traps. Granted in vanilla she can only do 3 actions in the air unless she flies but thats the same for most of the cast imma need you to clarify your statement.
And in the nerf/buff text for umvc3 it says only 1 trap of each can be laid per jump…technically if you double jump its a second jump…regardless we will know in a week if u can do it or not but judging of the text you can definetly double jump and do it

i have heard about it on the forums that they are suppose to have em today or tomorrow i dont have access to a car to go find out so when i get off work i will call them myself to see if they have it…if they do then dear god i will not put that book down until every word has been read
I have reason to think that it is **very unlikely **the books will be there today. I would definitely call before you go.
Sorry – what I was saying is that in vanilla, if you do 3 traps and double jump, you cannot do anymore traps after the double jump. You can however do two traps, fly, and do more traps.
My understanding via the neogaf thread is that its only a minor nerf. In UMVC3 Trish can still do Peekaboo + Hoscotch, fly, and do more traps.
Is this confirmed confirmed? Either way I should be getting the game Friday so I will test it out soon.

From the stream last night, it looks like one of each trap per jump. No real confirmation on if flight gives you access to more.
I’ll be honest, I think it would be better just to give her any combination of 3 traps in one jump. My main problem with the nerf is that it really makes her a lot less flexible as a character overall.
Yea I really had to adjust to not spamming hopscotch in the air. I would do Round trip, l or m low voltage, then hop scotch on the way down for safety. The first UMvC3 event I thought trish’s dive kick seemed slower, but in this build it seemed to be back to normal speed. I also still had trouble figuring out what to do after an air back throw. I can wave dash then TK High Voltage, but it had minimal damage cuz very few bolts hit OTG.
If height/circumstances permit, may try air dashing down or down/forward and speeding it up by canceling the air dash down into a normal, then wave dashing for the TK Max Voltage.
I wish they made her regular voltage attacks otg as well if they did it would make her more flexible as a charecter and her damage output would really be improved. I hate the fact that i have to waste a meter to do an air hyper to otg that sucks

i have the game also from nyc. not sure who i want to play yet which was my problem with vanilla as well. i tried to see if i can tiger knee Trish’s max voltage after a regular ground throw unfortunately the opponent gets up just a tad early before i do it so that mean it’s not possible.
