The problem i have with her assist is she doesnt have a good PROJECTILE ASSIST. If i run a team of Trish/???/Wesker and i switch to the ??? charecter (most likely someone in need of a projectile to get in) that person may struggle to mount an offence with trish’s assist. Also her assist arent good for prolonging combos except her projectile, outside of that its too slow to use in projectile wars and trish’s low health would prevent you from callin her that much for risk of her dying…I just feel like when you pick trish you almost HAVE to have wesker which limits her viability to other teams. Weskers gunshot is only gonna be used for unblockables and combo extensions which sucks. Hell if round trip was an assist it would be perfect…lockdown, projectile, combo extensions it would make her a better charecter overall in ultimate
Hopscotch would be better if it traveled faster. It’s great that it’s on the ground and can’t be hit but the travel speed make is pretty bad for characters who can easily just get around it via air. But that’s me. If I had to choose a assist for Trish, i’d take low voltage and peekaboo anyday.
hopscotch is already good, the only characters that can avoid it in air is characters with fast air dashes or a fast flight mode. i only use low voltage when i feel like going chip damage mode with sentinel or mag. In ultimate her low voltage will be best assist for her as it was sped up. the teams i use for trish dont need wesker in it, i dont go for unblockable set ups i feel more accomplished pressuring the person to press a button in a corner with trish/dante trap the chip damage is worth it

Not trying to be a jerk but the level of play you showed was really low even for casuals. A lot of the combos were dropped or ended just letting them recover out. You did a lot of unsafe stuff against Wolverine and Dante. You mentioned the Trish/Dante trap of Round Trip + Jam Session assist which was nice, except that you weren’t hit confirming it so you were losing combos when you actually were getting connections because you were still doing the trap instead of something that actually combo’d.

Have you watched some of RDK or Jago’s matches? You might pick up a few things that would help you out. There are big posts on both over in the video thread.
Also the faster Low Voltage assist has just been a rumor so far, I don’t think anyone’s been able to confirm it.
My major problem is the combo dropping, and the fact your team didnts seem to have hardly anysetups that WORKED effectively. Is that you playing on the xbox controller?? if it is i will give you the benefit of the doubt because im a pad player(ps3) and the XBOX controller SUX ASS!!!
yes i do use ps3 pad, xbox controllers do suck ass but i still got 4th place in that tourney and i dont know how to use arcade sticks i use directional pad instead of analog and it was the main reason my supers werent being confirmed but i still had the mind set regardless i still know how to deal with characters of the game. but for people that dont believe me you can find me on psn to play me. also noone was doing great that day, look at the first match of the video rahmel and nerdjosh dropped combos all over the place and missed lots of haggar follow ups it wasnt just me, and mind you those were finals you shouldnt be dropping anything

btw charlie your right, xbox motes suck compared to the power of the ps3~ and im not saying that cause im a ps3 fan. although thats more than half the reason too
The point is that it’s hard to determine what’s good or bad at a low or average level of play. Certain things that seem like they work may fall apart when the game is played properly.
A harmless habit which looks fine against poor players may get you killed against better ones. A good example is his trap with Jam Session and Round Trip. Not hit confirming it (leading to drop combos) work against the average player, but it easily leads to losses later on.
I’m not trying to criticize the guy because we’re all just looking to improve. He said that he felt more accomplished with his style than the style we’ve seen the most successful Trish’s using. That’s a pretty lofty statement that needs some powerful proof, and the videos he posted weren’t it.

ok cool~ i encourage anyone to practice against me, the reason i have this habit of doing trish/dante trap is because i used to have a megaman/blackheart team on mvc2 and i found it to be slightly similar without the megabuster and kickball. i couldnt use zero cause i had to switch my controls on pad just for him and i found it a hassle.
I pretty much run Trish/???/Wesker, because i love trish. I dont really care for wesker that much but he is like the ONLY compliment to trish that actually compete…i’ve been switching around the middle slot to taskmaster doom and several other charecters but come Ultimate im gonna replace Wesker and throw either Hawkeye or Nova in that place and find a new LOW that otg’s…love my unblockables. Death_Loner_Kage is my psn ID even tho connections suck and im stuck doin basic abc combos i will play you and anyone else online i just like to learn!!!

There are some other options still if you want the quick OTG assist AND unblockables.

[]Trish + Viper (Seismo) works. Seismo is your quick OTG and Viper can do unblockables off Round Harvest.
[]Trish + X-23 (Ankle Slice) works. Ankle slice is your quick OTG and hits low to setup unblockables off Round Harvest.
[]Trish + Iron Fist (Crescent Kick thing) may work in Ultimate. It hits high for unblockables and OTGs. The range is short, though.
[]Trish + She-Hulk (Torpedo) does technically work, even if you don’t like She-Hulk. She’s a little slower on the OTG side, though.

I’m a huge fan of Trish + Viper right now so I definitely see some potential there in Ultimate. One touch leads to an unblockable, and then Viper is ready in the corner to setup a nasty mix-up on the next incoming character. Trish is a really flexible enabler to get here there safely.
Right now working with Trish/Viper/Dante, though I may try some other assists/anchors in Ultimate if Dante’s too weak.
… Can’t you do hopscotch/peekaboo, fly, hopscotch/peekaboo again? You can still do it twice if you use fly is my understanding. I only take this as a minor nerf. Am I missing something? 
I personally use trish/dante(crystal) for the otg but it requires a different combo. But it ends up doing more damage in the long run and a reset possible. I had it posted up in youtube awhile back but my laptop derped and fucked up the vid.
no you cant do that but you can do the hopscotch loop up to 3 times though, matter a fact none of the things trish can do will follow up with fly because the frame starting is enormous its like 10 frames on start and anything in a combo would fall out by the time you start it
Even tho Deadpool doesnt otg he can setup the unblockable aswell…i agree with everything stated here in this post
There are other lows and otg’s in the game but very few setup the unblockable which i think is one of the major reasons to play trish…i just may have to suck it up and play some execution based charecters to get my unblockbables i want (the main reason i dont want to use the majority of the ones u listed above lol) im just so sick of wesker now yes he’s good but i feel like Wesker kinda kills some thins you could do with trish as far as synergy is concerned smh
easy fix is to just jump again (trish has a double jump) its stated in the nerf/buff text that she can do it once a jump so to lay more just jump again
