"So we got [point_character]…and he’s looking for the OOH! OOH! ooh!
And that’s a dead character. Now we got [next_character] incoming. [player_a] is looking strong. Things are looking bad for [player_a], but he does still have X-Factor…OOOOH! "
How they’re doing it, what mistakes the opponent made to put themselves in that position, maybe a joke (“this is a horror movie and Zero is the slasher on the poster” off the top of my head), what this means in the context of the game to help those newbie viewers that stream monsters hate, or even make a joke or tell an off-topic story to keep folks entertained if the well is that dry. Even if it’s a situation we’ve seen a hundred times before, the commentator still has to at least try to make it fresh. Pretending you’re out at the zoo all the time doesn’t do that.
yeah these marvel matches are pretty bad/boring. Just going to have the stream on mute and check from time to time until I see some good people or teams that seem interesting to watch >.>
I got knocked out of UCC pretty early because I’ve been playing like shit all weekend and I’m a choke artist. I didn’t expect to do well, so I’m only a little bummed, but now there’s nothing to do. I don’t even wanna wait for Sunday cause its just gonna be ranma vs jan.
Spirals Dorm/Jam theory team vs Honzogonzo on IPW right now. Dorm/Jam looks like too much fun. I wish that was the future of the game as a counter to morridoom or stuff like that. instead we’re gonna have x/Doom/Vergil mirrors.
