Thor is not bad, your Thor is bad. As Chrisis always say in his tier list update every month, Thor beat mindless rushdown of Vergil which is what 95% of the players do with him, only Houshen and Chrisg play an actual good Vergil so right now Thor shouldnt be losing to the vast majority of Vergils outside of XF, at least consistently. I used to play in online and i never ever lost to a Vergil in a set, not even to the best online warriors Vergils that are used to online lag and tricks where Vergil s.S and helm breaker are god tier.

Thor is under rated but I won’t say Huoshen and Chris G are the only good Vergils, most of the west coast Vergil mains including Shady K, Drew Grimey, Padtrick, etc have as good if not better Vergils. Also from the EC you’re missing Flux who IMO does a lot of good things with Vergil.
So who are these best online vergils you speak of?

I think you’re half a nut if you don’t say Flux has the best EC Vergil (if we don’t consider Florida EC, why ever that is). Playing against Flux after seeing him play on stream also definitely opened my eyes to how goddamn powerful Vergil with Jam is.
