Yeah Jibbo and Ryan used to be the big 2 “defense force” guys or whatever they call that desperation shit to get people to see the light in the game. I’d rather they just played the game instead of acting like they have to fight some fight against the people who don’t like it.

Both of them I’m sure are just caught up in too much IRL ATM. I know Jibbo is a musician and is in the military, so yeah he stays booked.

95% sure this 4 corner shit ain’t new anyway, RayRay posted a video a long time ago of a way to turn around for very fast crossups with Magneto but it was executionally prohibitive. since iirc it is jump, crossup, mag blast kara cancel to air dash down to turn around into j.L

then the crossup low is kinda obvious and easy anyway

The Magblast stuff actually came from Joker first IINM, and it can be done with disruptor as well. It’s just about karaing a special into an air dash since specials correct your facing. I doubt that would be the 4 corners tech especially since Magneto has hitboxes to cross up if you just space his stuff right anyways, I’m still surprised how rarely I see people go for cross up air C and B.

Yeah plink dashing and TAC infinites have changed the game probably the most and those both just kinda crept up without any “guy with the coat on the corner” secrecy. Which not surprisingly, neither of those things were needed to be used by Flocker to win Evo. TAC infinites were hyped after their discovery to break the game, but like I said before there’s a lot of ways to kill that don’t involve a guess any way.
