People laugh at VaSaga but in all seriousness Champ can beat MorriDoom without selling out to Capcom charactersâDr. Strange. Itâs kind of odd that he doesnât play the character actually. Heâs Marvel, plays perfectly for Champâs play style, has brutally good assists for Magneto and Dorm, and when given the proper assists mauls MorriDoomâs keep away. Obviously Vergil rapes him but itâs better than what he has now for fighting team Chris G. Iâm surprised no oneâs suggested it to him rather than using that gimmick Morrigan team.
Youâre right that he doesnât need to go to Capcom characters, but you have the wrong Marvel character in mind. Dr Strange may be the Sorcerer Supreme, but it takes the God of Thunder to take down MorriDoom.
Maybe Strange would function well against weak MorriDooms but not Chris G. Youâre not going to hit him with telegraphed SoV or RoR. Strange also has really poor air control and movement; he really needs meter to control the matchup and denying meter is one of the hidden strengths of MorriDoom.
Put Strange in the middle. Erik point. Bolts cripple Doom missiles. Now youâve got time to mixup Morrigan or just disruptor + your missiles. If she slips and calls him again disruptor, shockwave, Vishant, feel free to X factor to finish the job. You can basically make her play without a neutral assist. You can also Raggador any attempts to invincible out of trouble with shockwave DHC Raggador ( I think) if youâre quick. After killing Doom eye hard tag to Mags is a free mixup on Vergil.
And yet, even in the comics since itâs been revealed to be Max, everyone still calls him Erik. The Max Eisenhardt reveal was a retcon other writers disliked, and therefore choose to ignore.
