You donāt even get to get that far because his Morrigan doesnāt even have an assist to ask that question.
You know thatās not going to happen. He says Dorm/Jam Session isnāt that good while no one has really explored all the options. Meanwhile he plans to run Morrigan/Dorm/Doom in the future while all the players who experiment/use it (including me) donāt think itās hot shit at all.
I enjoy the death screams [ryona] of Morrigan and her outward appearance. Thatās about it. Not impressed by a character that most characters can even touch in theory and often in practice.
Morrigan/Dorm/Doom is just gonna suck cuz he will be at such a deficit getting his Morrigan to the level of Chris Gās and heāll most likely have to play plasma beam Morrigan like Xian to even get momentum.
Champ just needs to make up his mind and pick which character he wants to rock between Dormammu and Phoenix, cause he isnāt going to beat ChrisG with both of them on the same team. He should either fully put time into learning Morrigan and run Morri/Doom/Phoenix or stick with his Dormammu team(possibly add Dante). Only then will he be able to deal with Chrisā team. His ācounter-pickā team was easily picked apart on two separate occasions now. However, he still could have at least done much better during GF if he used DPās supers when he should and focused on killing Chris Gās Morrigan(the TRUE hard-counter to Phoenix).
I pretty much play or have played all the characters Fchamp plays and I also have a very similar playstyle. After trying to come up with the best combination of those characters that has the strongest zoning, runaway and generally lame options, but can also fight all the top tiers and the rest of the cast well, I came to the conclusion that Mag/Morrigan/Doom is the best team for that.
The team order is flexible but vs chris G Iād put magneto on point as his movement can keep up with morrigan. Build 3 meters with harmoniser, shockwave DHC, then try and win off the strength of you having 2 astral visions stocked compared to Chris Gās one. The problem here for Fchamp though is your Morridoom has to be good to win with this strategy plus you need to know the mirror match very well. Two things which Fchamp doesnt have.
If you want to play Dorm and be as competitive as possible imo you have to play mag/dorm/doom or one of those dorm/jam theory teams. I just wish you could break the game so I could somehow play Mag/Dorm/Morrigan/Doom. Or give Dormammu a meter build assist so you can build meter for him by running away before he even comes out.
The synergy of the team is not going to be worth the investment. Even with pure theorycrafting you can anticipate the flaws ahead of time, not to mention how unforgivable the team operates in real matches.
