Wonder what you guys think of my morrigan team that I played at the CEO barfights. This was me having not played marvel for 2 weeks (still stuck in the Big Brother mixup) though so I was alittle rusty lol.
I think some are on the archives of our Freedemonia twitch page, will check if we can get things going again since Haibing somehow made the decision to stream Breaking Badâs recent episodes and got stuff banned from Twitch. Hopefully itâs fixable within the near future.
You did pretty well. But I think you went overboard on âsoulfist/drain, fly, S, (call meter assist), repeatâ loops against characters that can fly. Your opponentâs doom managed to get close to your morrigan a few times because there werenât enough fireballs and missiles on screen. Donât be afraid to throw H fireballs or to jump/superjump. When a magneto player superjumps, theyâve given you a great opportunity to call missiles since the threat of disruptor is gone so make use of it. You were very focused on meter build assists and fireballs, to the point that a lot of your fireball game was avoided. Not having missiles out and not having a top row of fireballs is a lot less oppressive. Keep in mind that blocking missiles and normal fireballs builds decent meter and getting hit by them basically gives you the next AV. I think you played the vergil match well by being patient, not committing to fly cancels when he could be teleporting, pressuring him up close, and making the decision to use XF to guard cancel him and try to kill him.
is it me or did Chris G level up his Morrigan again?
his pressure looked more overwhelming than usual. Iâve seen him do that double I.A. shellkick mixup before, but it looked so much faster this time. Everything he was doing looked a bit faster and crisper. Maybe him and Josh Wong connected their avatar ponytails at Summer Jam.
