Yes you can but depending on how many times you retract/cancel a bid, there’s a consequence. Cant remember if the consequence is making you pay or having your account locked or what but there is a consequence for too many retracted bids. However, when you retract a bid, you only retract ONE bid. Looking at the bids placed, there’s atleast one person who placed several bids. No matter how you look at it, that shit is selling for atleast over 15k

Its not like Ebay are the police or anything plus canceling a bid is automated and not done via a customer service rep. You can fill out a retract a bid form and click entered wrong amount which makes you put a new amount (which then you would just put in a smaller amount) but 90% of the time it will get you out of paying for it. Ebay will investigate it (they investigate all canceled bids) but it’s not like there’s gonna be a pop up that says you’re not allowed to do that.
Problem is, there are people who bidded 3+ times so the only way they’ll be able to cancel all their bids is if the seller changed the item description
