in all seriousness, it’s not the losing that i hate (not that i like losing.) it’s when i’m losing because of shit that’s out of my control. i mean, i can’t control the other person killing my characters, but i can think back and say “this is why i lost, i made a mistake or i let myself get into a bad situation.”
whereas online i’m getting hit by stuff that is not hard to block at all, but it still opens me up because i didn’t block half a second in advance. or dropping a simple combo or setup that would either kill or at least put in a favorable situation, because an input fails to register.
