So is there any legit strategy to pull off an instant kill? I just see people throwing it out randomly and hoping it hits.
Outside of Naoto’s Mudoon and Hamaon I’m pretty sure it is just a hail mary sort of thing. I mean it kills instantly, I doubt you could combo into or something. There are some things like paralyse with Kanji and then go for it but for the most part it’s like a wake-up ultra. (This is all just based of what I’ve seen, I don’t have P4A yet.)

I was fighting a Mitsuru who I was pressuring in the corner. I got a knock down and I decided to sway with Aki in order to build up cyclone. I released corkscrew because I thought she was going to 5A, turns out it was her instant kill which has invincibility. I had about 80% health and to add salt to the wound I got an achievement called “Denied Pets”
