I have played people on the east coast though and have had smooth ass games.
As far as the DP goes yea I know. I throw that shit out there until you give me a reason not to use it. The better players around my area I will use it seldomly but people I haven’t really played I will throw that shit out religiously.

I don’t know because I don’t play Teddie. I’ve seen people do crazy shit with him though like resets into rocket item, the rocket forces you to block and you can hit them with his unblockable super.

I’m picking Chie up as a secondary…which given the bad matchups Kanji has it might as well be switching mains. Keeping Kanji, I have too much fun with him.
His DP is AMAZING and his 2A is also ridiculous. I would play someone else but I honesly don’t like many characters in this game aesthetically besides Yu, Kanji, and Shadow. I hate grappler archetypes so Kanji doesn’t work form me and Shadow is too hard… I will learn her eventually though after I get the game down.
Yu is the perfect beginner anime fg character. Good projectile, awesome DP, great normals, and nasty oki… plus he has a sword and an anime haircut
