GGs 7k! It was nice to see a Chie that was doing things other than 5A along with actually seeing the meteor mix up. For only using Naoto in challenge mode you weren’t half bad with her or at least she gave me problems.

I think SFxT is a better game than SFIV pretty free. I even thought that before the game even came out.
It’s a much more creative game as far as how you can actually pressure people with shit other than jabs which makes the footsies more interesting like the older SF games. Slow walk speeds for half the cast and shitty throws I’m still not a big fan of, but it’s kinda like a less cheap Alpha 1 with a tag format I guess. Which is interesting enough. I still wish the game was a bit cheaper and that there was none of this gem/pandora stuff that I still hate…but at least the mechanics are more interesting than IV’s.
SFIV was just a game that was hard to like if you’ve played the older SF games. It was just a safe game they made to hope people would get back into SF. It doesn’t really have anything interesting for people who have been playing all types of SF games for years. Extremely dry game.
IMHO they fucked up when they didn’t include mah niggas Urien and Oro and made Dudley gutter trash tier. The irony.
That plus not including the main fucking character of SF3…Alex. Like…could have sworn they would put him in. I would actually play the game for another month if they put Alex in.
There’s a lot wrong with that theory. You’re assuming there’s another Street Fighter game that’s doing very well at the moment. I’m a SFII type of player at heart. Lets run down the list of games I could be playing to get that Street Fighter 2 style gameplay fix.

I haaaate vortex characters as much as the next person, and if they don’t change the way crossups work, the game is going to continue to look worse. At the same time, I still enjoy a game of Ryu vs Gat. There is still a TOOOON of great matchups in the game, even if you wind up with an awkward one like Dudley vs Abel, or any Cammy matchup.
The weird thing about Alex being the main character of SFIII, is the fact that NOBODY knows that unless you’re already pretty deep into fighting games lol.
