I’ve seen it work but I personally don’t think it’s worth the risk of dropping since st.H no longer causes soft knockdown and since you’re gonna be grounded for the final st.H, the hitstun will kick in and the Hyper Grav won’t connect most of the time.

A guaranteed tempest after long combos into TAC. none of that Hyper grav stuff from vanilla that only works with low hitstun decay now.

all the old tutorials are still good, hell theres a umvc3 tutorial and making another new one would be pointless. if you cant do it then you just cant do it, this character isnt for everyone. i’ve seen you around the sparda bros forums and you seem to be doing alright learning them, magnus is only a bit harder.

Sparda bros forum? I don’t recall ever being there.
And the only problem I have is no one goes really in depth and explains the timing/heights. The Japanese one is pretty good but I can’t really see his hands.

TAC > H fly H adf H xN is easy and solid.
there are a lot of fancier ones that do more though.

Im cooking some midscreen goodness. I just need to find a way to end it with a solid hyper. either a Tempest or a full Magnetic Shockwav

I would like to say thank you guys for all of this great information in this thread and the other threads I am finally getting some good results with Magneto and I am now able to perform the EMP loop and half the time ROM. I also can connect some flight combos and the hyper grav loops but I still drop it alot lol. But I have been reading alot of stuff in this thread and the other threads in the Magneto forums and it has been so much help to me thank you guys :). Well I still have a long way to go with Magneto and I hope i can learn how to use magnetic blast consistently so I can attempt those type of combos. Thanks again and I will stick around this forum I love Magneto.

I’m not sure how well this is known but I was messing around with Magneto and found out you can get three of his H moves into his hyper-grab loop instead of two (and you don’t have to super jump). I found two variations for it which one involves jumping up/back and the other involves jumping up. I hope this helps in extending damage for Magneto. (Don’t mind my mashing H to get it out!)

It’s very easy the notation is just after hyper grab jump up/back, j. H, addf, j. H, s. H.

Vanilla old :slight_smile: It’s actually easier in ultimate than it was back then.

I stop using that since it doesn’t work on all characters
