Though as much as like Viper getting buffs, I dont want her getting anymore than her O.Blast because Capcom has a tendency of nerfing problematic characters to complete ass. I would literally stop playing this game if Viper got nerfed too badly lol. Zero isn’t enough to make me stay anymore 
There’s still Ghost Rider coming. Not only is a badass as hell, but I still think he looks the strongest of the characters they’ve shown so far (yes, that includes Doctor Strange).
lmao I forgot about the new characters, Ghost rider is a 10/10 on my hype meter for UMvC3 but sorry dude you gotta be crazy if you think hes gunna be better than Dr. Strange lmao that Guy looks like he will be God in this game…I mean like wow I’m speechless when it comes to describing him! Mouth was agape through the whole Dr. Strange video true story.
It also seems most of the new characters that have been announced so far are gunna be Zoning/Runaway characters, good stuff on Capcom’s part for this. The game was really lacking in that category.
DR. Strange is missing a few things that I think could be really bad for him, plus, his damage seemed pretty low.
Ghost Rider on the other hand, has abare out the ass, huge multi-hitting normals, and a shotgun blast that covers the same area as Shuma’s beam… but with a 4th the startup.
Of course this is all speculation so… yeah.
Oh man that shotgun whip was epic as hell when I saw that. Ghostrider no doubt is gunna be a force to be reckoned with. Dr. Strange to me seems like Magneto gone SSJ3 lol, hes that good. But your right we’ll have to see what happens when the game finally drops. which seems like forever from now :shake:
Well, he kinda like magneto, but without the normals, the air dash, a noncommittal beam, and damage.
Did you notice the strange beam? Both of those beams are part of the attack, you gotta commit to that fucker for like 2 seconds. His other projectiles required setup, which means they won’t be good for zoning. He does have those angled fireballs, which look solid.
I still think Firebrand looks the best so far.

It’s worth noting, I think all the shown characters look pretty strong actually.
Firebrand looks like he will be the easiest to use. Doctor Strange looks like he is the most intricate (one i’m looking forward too) but he seems to have a dormammu type of approach where you have to be charging your hands up to be able and get a specific tool to be used. Nemesis is my personal favorite right now. He seems strong too. Fricken OTG Hyper and that BIG ASS LAUNCHER?!
Yeah, Nemesis is like a Hulk… with all the tools that Hulk really needs… Scary.
I have read that Firebrand is actually pretty awkward to use. That some of his moves automatically activate flight and what not. We will see though.
Nemesis looks the easiest to use. Just a big armored character. A Hulk/Sentinel with a few differences.
I have a feeling that Nemesis will be as common as pre-patched Sentinel…

Wall bouncing longe range whip assist. Plus half screen Unblockables with BK assist and relaunches using BK assist.

Uhhh I’m already feeling the Indecisiveness of all these characters. They just all seem to good! I mean I only have 1 spot open on my main team which is Zero/Viper and Tasky currently holding the 3rd slot. But when Ultimate comes OMG who do I choose, Dante(Easier command Inputs), Nova, Ghost Rider, Virgil, Dr. Strange, Ironfist, Phoenix Wright! Oh man the despair. lol If they put Psylocke in for DLC my main team is gunna be set in stone but right now gosh I think I’m gunna have to learn all the new characters and have like 20 back up teams!
Ghost rider has multiple OTGs that he can use, unsure if any let you summon BK at a time where you can recover in time but it’ll be useful for him with his crouch C no matter what.
Heres a thing to remember… of course the characters will look good. Capcom wouldn’t put out reveal videos and have the new characters look like shit. So everyone of the new characters will look really decent.
Gut tells me that Nemesis will be shitty. I just don’t see anything super special about him.
So far Strange and Firebrand are the only ones that really appeal to me. Possibly Hawkeye with all his different arrows (if he can do unique things with them).
The thing is were past just trailers already. We have people who have played the characters and voiced their opinion as well as tons of videos of people playing the characters at events like EVO or Comic-Con who have vouched that all the characters released so far are solid, Ex: Floe, Maximillion etc… Also alot of information is out there regarding the characters. Waiting on D.Strange and Nemesis though but with the way the first 4 characters were received I don’t expect much different from the rest.
Yea but limited time with a game doesn’t really do much. Some people will just get excited by playing a character 3/4 times and overhype them somewhat just due to the fact that being able to play them only a few times sort of “tickled” them.
People will only try and find good things to say about Strider just because they are excited for him and WANT HIM to be good. Cl0ckwork’s opinion of him made him sound sort of average.
We won’t really know until the game is released. But it is much more common for people to get to excited and overhype rather than seriously search for the truth.
