Oh yeah. I think I found out the reason why people were complaining about Magneto’s Grav Push/Pull/Force move more than Storm’s. It’s because Magento is so fucking spam happy that this move CAN be spammed like crazy, whereas Storm’s has a delay after she uses hers. Case in point, one of the streams showed someone abusing the living hell out of it and spamming Arthur’s Daggers (or some other projectile assist) while the other person’s trying to get in only to get chipped out. Think about it:
“REPUL-REPUL-REPUL-”
(Ok I’m gonna super jump over this)
“GRAVITATION!”
(…fuck)
So many
Wesker, Dante,Vergil’s online. IN ALL BLACK.
And 99% of the time the guy’s name contains “Demon”, “Dark”, or “666”.
So tell, what is broken about vergil and wesker then?, or you just straight dont like them? If that the case, shame, because vergil is one fun as hell to play dude, with cool combos and moves, but gives a fair fight.
Wesker i can understand, is overused, very esay, and a bit repetitive. But not broken my friend, and its ok to have a little of global saturation from time to time.
What about DarkDemon666? Datsabadassdangoldnamerightdere man
Your doing it wrong. Its “xxXshephirofDEVILnarutoXxx”, or "xxXxMW3noscopequikscopekillerNBAxXxx.
wat
If you’re a Wesker player, you should probably be worried about how much he’s being used online right now. As someone brought up in another thread, it was Sentinel’s extreme overuse online that lead to him getting crushed with the nerf bat. If Wesker maintains his current level of popularity, it really wouldn’t be surprising if he ended up losing something massive in response (200k hp, more delay on teleport, even more nerfed gunshot/etc) Wesker doesn’t necessarily need to be nerfed, but Capcom might do it if they feel he’s untuned for the effort (note: Sentinel didn’t necessarily need the massive nerf he had either, so there’s definitely precedent.)
Vergil I personally don’t care about. Haven’t fought one to be honest But broken? I wouldn’t say so YET. Give it about a month and then we might either have Vergil being BFFs with someone, or be a lower character.
Wesker’s cheapness comes in his ability to spam the gunshot, and spamming teleports IMMEDIATELY after gunshot (which should be fucking looked at Capcom :bluu:). You might not see a problem with it now, but look to when they’re keeping away from you and all they do is teleport in the air numerous amounts of time (which in itself is bullshit). I mean come on. A few shots is ok, but a move that comes out THAT fast, and is more spammable than Magneto’s DISRUPTAH is comeplete bullshit. (I’ve played against a Wesker using Hawkeye and I STILL get hit out of the Insta-Arrow)
1st week of Vanilla, I used Wesker because of his Rhino Charge. Now? Forget about it. I’ll only use him in Mission mode and then I’m done with him (along with Wolverine and Akuma)
What sucks is that I actually find Sentinel and Wesker fun and I do use them
Before I get hated, I play Arthur, Haggar and hell Spider-Man too
EDIT: and no I don’t abuse Haggar’s assist…Arthur on the other hand
Sentinel nerf patch was completed pre-release but was going through cert.
Is she really that tough to play?
BTW, does anybody else like how Capcom gave us a snow stage to pick against all in black teams?
I can’t use her if my life depended on it. I ALWAYS drop combos with her.
Call me crazy but I find her harder than C.Viper.
I pick the snow stage everytime just because I like it. I guess it pisses a lot of people off since that’s the only stage I’ll really play on. That and Days Of Future’s Past and Nighttime Asgard
So my friend said, “WHY IS MARK WHALBERG IN THIS GAME? Like seriously yo, whenever they need an angry low-class hero fighting for a lost cause they always choose him.”
I was like “dude that’s Frank West in a white suit.”
But now fellow thread readers, imagine if Mark Whalberg was actually in this game. His TAC quotes would probably be
[details=Spoiler]Ex.1
Rocket Raccoon: "Mr. Whalberg!"
Mark Whalberg “FUCK D-LISTERS!!! ! Stallone!” (pass)
Rocket Raccoon: “Follow my lead!”
Ex.2
Deadpool: "Bad Actor Dude!!"
Mark: “FUCK D-LISTERS!!! Reynolds!” (pass)
Deadpool: “Ha!”
Ex 3:
Wolverine: Mark!
Mark: “FUCK D-LISTERS!!! Jackman!” (pass)
Wolverine: “You’re finished Bub!”
Ex.4:
Ghost Rider: Mr.Whalberg

Mark: FUCK D-LISTERS!!! CGI Monster!"
Shuma-Gorath: At Last!

I’m still running my Vanilla of Hulk/ammy/morrigan. But I have a team of new characters in the world called New blood
Disagree here; I think his weird launcher alone would make him noob-unfriendly.
Until you face a white Magneto or Firebrand with Luminous Body.
It is a very nice-looking stage, though.
As for beginner characters, I don’t think Iron Fist should be on there as well. Haven’t used him, but from what I’ve seen, he looks like some of his stuff like Rekkas requires tight timing. Plus, his combos are a little awkward mostly because of his launcher requiring you to set it up. He also doesn’t have good air options on his own. I could very well be wrong, though.
EDIT: Beaten by Opiate
So On PSN TheTrooper4649 Is 59-0 With An 11 Game Win Streak Hmmm Interesting
This is just my opinion, but I think there are going to be three stages of Vergil:
Stage One: Vergil’s teleports make him seem like an overpowered Wesker-clone, and his cool factor makes him very popular online. People feel that he is cheap because they get hit by alot of dumb stuff when playing against him, and cry for nerfs.
Stage Two: Players have a lot of exposure to Vergil due to the high amount of online players who use him, and he is getting figured out. Tactics that worked in Phase One no longer work, and Vergil players are finding that their bread and butter combos are now being defended, and they are getting punished with TOD combos in return. They cry for buffs. The cool-factor keeps him highly played online, but he disappears from high level play.
Stage Three: Players have figured out that Vergil has to be played safely, and those who have stuck with him begin to figure it out. Vergil settles into his role as a mid-tier character, but is a little more visible at majors because of his damage potential. He keeps a high-profile online, because he is so cool.
I could be wrong, and Vergil could end up being a dominant character for the duration of the game, but this is how it see it working out for him. Ymmv.
Running nemesis hawkeye and Dreiser. It’s working pretty well but I swear to god I beat myself up for dropping easy combos with nemesis im a better player than I used to be and I’m just dropping allot of stuff and half the time it gets me killed because I end up doing an usafe move. Like doing bird bomb instead of heavy vajra with strider. I really need to work on my execution that and under lag conditions.
On side teams are p.wright, dr, strange, sentinel and frank/g.rider/dorm dr. Stange’s normals are just incredibly awkward.
