It was likeā¦ A year ago. It was pre-release, I think it was in one of the first general threads. Oh Godā¦ I just remembered the first general thread. It was full blown warfare. Worst sodium Iāve ever seen. One of the reasons I delayed joining SRK was because how unspeakably stupid that thread was. I only joined after half the posters were ban hammered after the great āgame mechanics warā. After that MVC3 forums it became a chill place, but we never forgot the tragic futility of that conflict between entitled 09āers and dim witted OGās.
I seriously hated that game, if I where to rate the games it would be Dmc1 dmc3 dmc4 (yes I said it) then dmc2.

Honestly, thatās my attitude towards people who would play any character in a language they donāt understand out of some pretence of authenticity.
Well, I play Japanese Zero because he sounds kind of cool. When I play English Zero I canāt get the sound of dubbed Ichigo out of my ears. Iād never play Dante or some other character with a good English voice in Japanese though.
Japanese Dante doesnāt fit him, but Japanese Zero = yes.
Also did you know that Nemesis voice is actually listed under Japanese only? O.o

You said that you wouldnāt play a character with a good English voice in Japanese, and you also said that you play Zero in Japanese. Is that implying that Johnny Yong Bosch isnāt good? I can understand if you donāt like him, but that doesnāt make him any less better. Heās probably the main reason I even play Zero.
I can hardly tell the difference between Johnny Yong Bosch and the japanese VA, whoever that is. Heās really good, no matter how overused his voice is.

Spencer is HYPE personified. I have an affinity for characters that yell a phrase really loud before cracking a nigga in the jaw from the other side of the screen. Itās one of the reasons why I play Makoto in BB.

Sort of the same reasoning here. That and most of his attacks are Japanese so I decided to ditch the Japanglish and go straight Japanese. I actually like Dante in Japanese. I liked Trish and Vergil (only language for him IMO) in Japanese so why not have the DMC crew in JP?

Also if you play Zero/Vergil/Dante you are effectively playing Nero/Vergil/Dante since JYB voices him too. o_O
